Best Bet: ALOTBETTOR N (1st) Spot Play: RUBBER DUCK (8th) MEET STATS: 141 - 438 / $801.40 BEST BETS: 20 - 35 / $69.90 Race 1 (2) ALOTBETTOR N had pace last week versus better but was done in by the eight hole; with the drop and the move inside he's clearly the one to beat at a short price. (4) GALACTIC GALLEON N has also been facing better with moderate success and seems capable of sneaking into the number. (3) SAMMY THE BULL N doesn't seem to fire as often as he should but he can save ground close up and land a share. Race 2 (1) GRAND MASTER was actually very good from off the pace two back prior to getting torched last week; veteran faces a pretty suspect field here and it wouldn't shock me to see Holland take these down the road. (4) BEAST MODE qualified very nicely and could be ready to go right off the bench. (2) ROCK TO GLORY gets needed post relief and should be more involved. Race 3 (4) PROVOCATIVEPRINCEN did all he could last week but was simply second best to the 1/9 winner Great Vintage; Tritton trainee seems to be back in winning form and deserves top billing. (3) VORACITY returns to Yonkers off three nice efforts to start off his 2018 campaign and he had some nice moments here last year in 4-year-old events. (2) SHADY CITY is up in class but has been racing very gamely lately and may be able to land a share. Race 4 (4) FAMEOUS WESTERN has just one win in over the last two seasons but he's been racing well for an extended period of time and meets a questionable field here; note Tetrick with the driving assignment tonight as Stratton sticks with a Tritton trainee. (3) ROLL AWAY JOE didn't fire last out but was a winner the start prior. (1) GO COLLECT N didn't race that badly in his debut for new connections and he draws best again. Race 5 (2) BETTOR MEMORIES has raced well in all four legs of the Levy without a win to show for it; with tonight's needed post relief in this abbreviated field and on the outside looking in for the lucrative final next week I'm expecting an aggressive effort. (1) LONG LIVE ROCK lands the best post; can Dube generate some early speed? (4) MISSILE J had a bad trip and never got involved last week; shouldn't have any traffic issues tonight. Race 6 (4) EVENIN OF PLEASURE raced huge from the eight hole last week at 96/1 and there's no reason to think he can't fire to the front again. (1) KEYSTONE VELOCITY was much better last week flashing good speed at both ends of the mile and now he draws best; overbet? (3) MACH IT SO also rebounded nicely last out and would be no surprise here. Race 7 (5) DR J HANOVER has a huge tactical advantage from this spot and should be able to fire to the lead and rate a comfortable pace for his fourth consecutive start. (1) LUCIANO N may be a notch below these but he has good speed with the best post and may be able to work out a live stalking trip. (6) SOMEWHERE IN L A has been rock-solid in all 2018 starts but having the speedy top choice inside of him could hurt his chances. Race 8 (4) RUBBER DUCK can be excused for last week's effort where he failed to get involved from post eight. Team Bongiorno charge gets major post relief and was a winner from a similar spot two back. (5) IN SECRET had no excuse last week but his early speed and decent post makes him a player again. (7) CHARMED LIFE didn't fire with her best last out but we know she's better than that. Race 9 (4) WINNING LINC returns to Yonkers after a wasted eight hole effort upstate; Bartlett sticks with the Banca trainee, and that barn has been on fire recently. (2) FRANCO RAYNER N drops from the Levy into this more favorable spot and will probably try taking these down the road. (1) MACH TIME N closed well last out and now gets big-time post relief. Race 10 In a very competitive race, (5) SOHO LENNON A had no chance last week from the outside spot but had plenty of pace in his prior efforts; if Dave Miller can get him away from the gate in good order and steer clear of late traffic this veteran would appear to have a big chance. (6) BADIX HANOVER has been rock-solid since the $50K Banca claim and just missed last week after riding live cover. (1) PACING MAJOR N makes his 2018 debut for Tritton and does get the best post but finds some tough competition here. Race 11 Last week I tried to beat (3) GURAL HANOVER, who went off at 1/5 and found a way to lose after being used hard. This week I actually like the spot he's in and I think he can rebound at a better price. (5) FOX VALLEY ILIAD has good early speed which can set him up for a nice trip. (6) CASH ME OUT is a legit Open commodity and was a good second to Melady's Monet two back. Race 12 (7) ORILLIA JOE dropped in class last week and took care of business; he's back up a notch and lands outside tonight but should be a halfway decent price and is good enough to repeat. (3) ROLAND N ROCK was nailed on the money last out; Rob Harmon trainee fits nicely here. (6) P H SUPERCAM has been racing well in all recent without a whole lot of luck.
