Best Bet: MACH IT SO (7th) Spot Play: ALWAYS AT MY PLACE (8th) MEET STATS: 116 - 378 / $646.10 BEST BETS: 16 - 30 / $58.40 Race 1 (4) BAKERSFIELD proved overmatched in the Levy but certainly wasn't awful; this type should be much more to his liking. (2) SOHO WALLSTREET A has raced well since arriving from Down-under but hasn't been spectacular; he was second best to a strong winner last week and should be right there again from this inside post. (1) SETTLEMOIR has raced well in his last two and he draws well again. Race 2 (4) WINDSONG LEO bounced back with a nice winning effort last week and gets to face much of the same tonight; Burke trainee seems capable of repeating. (3) BLAISE MM HANOVER returns locally and has been flashing good speed out of town; Bartlett's choice. (1) ARTMAGIC drops out of the Levy into a much better spot but the Bamond trainee really hasn't taken a step forward this year and would be tough to take at a short price. Race 3 (5) BULLET BOB steps back up in class off a loss, where he never threatened the winner but dug in gamely for second; veteran can use his early speed to his advantage from this spot. (1) MELMERBY BEACH has been second best in his last two and looked particularly good last week, but are you going to take a very short price on this inconsistent veteran? I'm not. (2) TENACIOUS ONE A has been good since moving to Team Stalbaum and he'll be close up throughout. Race 4 (2) SOMEWHERE FANCY seems to have really regained his confidence in those two Pocono starts and the Allard trainee has beaten this type in the past. (1) DREAM OF LUCK moves all the way to the best post and looms a big player from this spot. (4) MACON GEORGIA A is feeling good again for Lance Hudson and seems capable of landing a share here. Race 5 (1) DON'TCALLMEFRANCIS was simply awesome in beating similar two back from the outside post and while he faces some tough ones tonight he deserves top billing. (4) P H SUPERCAM has really been feeling good recently and the ex-Levy champ clearly has a live chance here. (3) GRATIAN HANOVER took care of business last week as expected but he does face better here. Race 6 (4) MELADY'S MONET returns locally in a very favorable spot and the classy trotter should be odds-on to win this. (6) CASH ME OUT is a very classy veteran who has raced well here many times in the past; definitely worth including. (1) SIR JOHN F has raced very well since the Garcia-Herrera purchase. Race 7 (2) MACH IT SO held very well after a two-move eight-hole effort last week chasing a 1/9 winner home; Dave Miller's back in town tonight and is reunited with the double millionaire. (3) MISSILE J raced just 'okay' last week after securing a pocket then had to wait to shake free; he does look next best from this spot. (1) CAVIART LUCA tried going down the road in last and wilted late; he' can garner a share with a stalking trip. Race 8 (2) ALWAYS AT MY PLACE was a solid winner in round one of the Levy and can be excused for last week's effort where he was shaken off attacking the well-rated winner; Burke trainee has a post edge on his main rivals and deserves another chance. (6) BIT OF A LEGEND N is clearly a force to be reckoned with and he can do it from on or off the pace. (4) DR J HANOVER got away with murder on the front end in his last two; clearly he's a legit talent but will likely have to work harder tonight. Race 9 (2) IN SECRET lands a very favorable inside spot tonight and that may make all the difference. (7) CHARMED LIFE returned from vacation as sharp as ever, but will the classy mare have too far to come with speed types inside of him? (6) NF HAPPENSTANCE is one of those speed types who is arguably in career form for Jack Parker, Jr. and company. Race 10 (3) KEYSTONE VELOCITY simply had too far to come last week but did finish with pace; last year's Levy champ finally lands a coveted inside spot and won't let the opportunity pass. (4) ROCKIN RON has taken care of business on the front end in his two Levy efforts, including last week's easy win at 1/9; price will be better tonight but he may have to work harder. (1) WESTERN FAME closed nicely from off the pace last out and the Takter trainee seems to have blossomed into a really nice aged pacer. Race 11 (5) FRANCO RAYNER N closed mildly last out after getting away at the back of the back; he has flashed serious speed in the past and this may be a spot for Bongiorno to try firing from the gate. (6) SOMEWHERE IN L A has two solid seconds in the series and would be a clear choice here if not for the post. (1) ALL BETS OFF lands in a spot where he should be primed to show more. Race 12 (7) SEELEY MAN has the speed to get involved early and he meets a pretty soft group of NW20000 pacers. (3) BETTOREVER hasn't done much recently but he seems capable of better; Dave Miller drives. (1) THE LUNCH PAIL isn't one of my favorites but he does have a very live chance from this spot.
