MEET STATS: 84 - 264 / $467.00    BEST BETS: 14 - 21 / $54.00

Best Bet: ITRUSTYOU (5th)

Spot Play: ROCK TO GLORY (6th)

Race 1

I've never really been a fan of (5) STEELHEAD HANOVER but he qualified impressively down at Pompano and he's clearly the one to beat here. (1) DENVER DOLLY has speed, the best draw and would be no surprise here. (6) CURATOR returns from Ohio and picks up Pierce; closing threat?

Race 2

(2) LUMBERJACK WILLIE gets a much-improved post in his second start at this reduced level and he should be ready to roll from this spot. (4) BULLET BOB has proven to have a ton of early speed and he's a threat to go all the way. (1) ROCK ICON is an improving four-year-old from live connections.

Race 3

(5) CODE WORD dropped out of the Levy and into this softer spot. One can assume he'll be fit and ready to go tonight. (4) DIAMOND COWBOY gave way weakly last week; Fraley trainee is better than that. (7) NOB HILL HIGH is also surprisingly giving up on the Levy but the outside post here presents a big problem.

Race 4

(2) BETTOR'S EDGE sat the trip and scored right off the bench in round one of the Levy; Burke trainee can easily repeat. (1A) FAT MANS ALLEY is as game as they come and he can fire home late. (2A) CLEAR VISION has shown improvement in each of his three seasonal starts and he's certainly good insurance to have when I'm wagering on my top choice.

Race 5

(1A) ITRUSTYOU was a solid well-rated winner upon arrival and he should easily repeat. (1) ESCAPE THE NEWS needed last week's start, where he was going nowhere from the outside post; he'll be much closer to the action tonight. (2) FLEM N EM N has hit the board in his last five; sharp sort can be considered. (2A) P H SUPERCAM is in career form; former $15,000 claimer could be a closing threat.

Race 6

(5) ROCK TO GLORY has closed with plenty in his last two. From this slightly improved post the Godinez trainee is capable of reaching. (4) RUSSLEY RASCAL N was a solid uncovered winner last week and Brennan sticks with him. (1) SHARK'S LEGACY has tailed off in his last couple but he draws the rail here with Pierce driving and he can be considered.

Race 7

(7) TRACK MASTER D was outfinished in his last couple but Pierce sticks with him over a horse he won with last out; worth a look here in this evenly-matched event. (3) SALESVTER STALLION returns locally and has some early speed which should put him into the mix. (5) ROCNROLWILNEVERDIE gave way last week while uncovered. His prior ground-saving effort was good, however.

Race 8

(2) SECOND WIND N rallied nicely off a good trip last week and the veteran can score here in a race with no standouts. (7) VERSADO has good speed and the slightly added early distance can help his cause. (4) GOBAN steps up off a game front-end score.

Race 9

(2) APPRENTICE HANOVER didn't look all that comfortable grinding uncovered into Foiled Again in his local debut. From the rail slot expect a more aggressive attempt. (1) SWEET LOU raced well in his seasonal debut but was a nose shy; Burke trainee can be better tonight. (1A) EASY AGAIN was most impressive upon arrival and has been in raging form. (3) A J CORBELLI loses Pierce but he can round out the triple.

Race 10

(4) SHOW ME UP took all the money last week, was used early and gave way. He can rebound at a better price tonight. (5) HI HO STEVERINO has looked better in his last few: Tetrick drives again. (1) SAINT WILLIAM A seems to look a bit short in all of his efforts, meanwhile he banked over 113K last year with only two victories. He can hit the ticket from this rail spot.

Race 11

(1A) FOILED AGAIN could not have looked any better last week. Expect him to go about his business here and pay $2.10. (1) ARACACHE HANOVER gets much-needed post relief. (4) TEXICAN N didn't race all that badly last out while having no chance. Veteran import can land a small share. (1B) HILLBILLY HANOVER rounds out the ridiculously powerful Burke entry.

Race 12

(6) MISSISSIPPI HIPPY had good energy at both ends of his mile in his debut for DiDomenico. He faces tougher tonight but is worth following up. (2) SHORTSTACKED returns locally and gets Brennan in the bike from a good post. (5) DELCO ROCKNROLL gets post relief and Tetrick in the bike; I suspect he'll attract some attention at the windows.
