MEET STATS: 81 - 249 / $401.20  BEST BETS: 11 - 21 / $38.40

Best Bet: NOT AFRAID (5th)

Spot Play: MACH IT SO (10th)

Race 1

(1) MC DYNAMITE has been in good form for multiple weeks now and he has a nice turn of speed if it's timed right. (7) SAFE HARBOR is capable at this level but he needs an alert getaway. (2) UPFRONT COUNTRYBOY draws another good post and he'll be close up throughout.

Race 2

(4) ORILLIA JOE understandably was never close last week from the eight hole. Julie Miller trainee has some class to him and this field didn't come up too tough. (2) GEORGE JETTISON is not a prolific winner but he's been in good form. (1) CITY HALL is another who had no chance last out but he draws best for sharp connections.

Race 3

(1) RONNY BUGATTI transitioned to a solid aged overnight racehorse last season and he needed last week's tightener from the outside post. It can be all systems go tonight. (7) FITZ'S Z TAM is up in class off the Allard claim and he's currently in raging form. (3) ONE THROUGH TEN has good speed and has hit the board in his last five.

Race 4

(5) BEACH MEMORIES raced evenly last week in his return from brief vacation and Yannick can trip out here in the start of the Levy; this division came up pretty light. (4) MACHS BEACH BOY has been razor-sharp for Lachance. (2) FAT MANS ALLEY clearly needs a good post to be most competitive so from this inside spot he can be given a look.

Race 5

(8) NOT AFRAID has been the King of the Open all season and he's proven that poor posts haven't been a problem; takes another. (5) BACKSTREET HANOVER made an untimely miscue last week; prior efforts were good. (4) DANCEHALL MISTRESS made up a lot of ground last week in that added-distance event at a big price.

Race 6

(1) POLAK A qualified very willingly at The Meadowlands upon arrival from Austrailia and reportedly he's got loads of speed which could be on display early from the rail slot. (5) PANCETTA closed a ton from too far back last week and we all know what this little fellow is capable of. (2) TAKE IT BACK TERRY finally returned to the win column last week and the Burke trainee is still very sharp.

Race 7

(1) P H SUPERCAM, last year's Levy champ, has raced well in all of his 2015 starts including last week, where he lost some ground turning home but still finished well. Bartlett can trip out from this spot. (5) DANCIN YANKEE returns locally for this year's Levy off two productive qualifiers and he should be ready to roll. (7) FOILED AGAIN is back for his 11-year-old season and what more can be said about him? Reportedly he's as good as ever but the unlucky outside post can spoil his 2015 debut.

Race 8

(1) BJ'S GUY rallied belatedly last week after chasing from midpack most of the mile; prior effort was a sharp speed effort and from the best post the Godinez trainee must be respected. (4) STATESMAN N returns from upstate and Brennan will likely have the veteran forwardly placed. (2) FLEM N EM N was outbattled last week after cutting a sensible pace last out; he should hit the ticket with a ground-saving journey.

Race 9

(2) WARRAWEE NEEDY has been very sharp recently despite being unable to last the duration in his latest. He may have a conditioning edge over his main rivals here. (5) CLEAR VISION returns from vacation for Burke and the double millionaire is the class of the contest. (1) BIGTOWN HERO has three sharp qualifiers over the Yonkers surface in preparation for this series.

Race 10

(1) MACH IT SO had a very good run in last year's Levy and much like last season he should be ready to go right off the bench. (3) BETTOR'S EDGE is another Burke trainee coming off the shelf off two decent morning efforts and I assume he's also ready for action. (7) MICHAEL'S POWER was a bit short last out after flashing his customary early speed; he could try leaving again looking for an early spot.

Race 11

(7) TAKE MY PICTURE picks up Gingras with the defection of Bartlett to the rail horse but he's got good early speed in a suspect field; maybe. (4) SPIDER BLUE CHIP obviously has the ability but minding his manners has been another issue. (2) BOUND FOR FAME took two months off and qualified nicely at The Meadows.

Race 12

(2) FAMEOUS WESTERN has looked better in recent starts and this barn had a big upset winner last Saturday; with a little luck and late clearance he can be right there at the wire. (6) DOCTOR BUTCH returns from a winning effort at The Meadowlands but his last few local efforts have been less than stellar. (4) STONEHOUSE ADAM got the job done last out on the front end after setting a very soft early pace.
