Yonkers: Saturday 2/6 Analysis

MEET STATS: 29 - 93 / $191.70

BEST BETS: 4 - 8 / $14.60

Best Bet: ROLAND N ROCK (10th)

Spot Play: GOOD DAY MATE (4th)

Race 1

(1) GALLANT SEELSTER was pretty game in defeat last week and with the lucky inside draw he should be considered the one to beat. (7) HEEZ ORL BLACK N is probably the most talented here and he didn't race badly last week in a needed start; Vallee charge could provide some value from this spot. (2) LETTUCEROCKU A gets needed class and post relief in his second start of 2016.

Race 2

(3) WATKINS has raced pretty well in all recent and the veteran trotter appears overdue. (2) CALIPARI was very good two back at the added distance; tonight's inside post makes him a player. (8) SPIDER BLUE CHIP goes for new connections off the sale purchase and he has loads of class but who knows how hard he'll be extended tonight; use caution.

Race 3

(4) SPEED TRAP arrives for Burke off a willing qualifier and faces a mixed bag of questionable rivals; worth a try if the price is right. (2) BRETT MCFAVRELOUS has speed and another inside draw; threat. (1) SHADOW PLACE steps up a notch off two consecutive good efforts for Lachance.

Race 4

(5) GOOD DAY MATE was uninvolved in his last couple from poor posts; he moves in a couple of spots tonight, faces no world beaters and could be aggressively handled by Sears. (1) KEYSTONE HONOR fits here and is a prime contender but he seems like the camera-shy type. (2) ALLSTAR PARTNER returns off a poor effort at The Meadowlands but was second best when last seen here.

Race 5

(6) SANTANNA ONE charged home from well back last week in a nice effort and it looks like the Ruiz horses are waking up; worth a play. (1) NORTHVIEW PUNTER N arrives from Down Under sporting a very nice record; he could be ready at first asking. (3) FORTY FIVE RED has faltered in his last couple but he still remains a speed threat.

Race 6

(5) RED HOT HERBIE has hit the ticket in his last seven, including three victories along the way; Allard's trotter may be sent hard from this spot and try to take these the distance. (4) CRAZSHANA raced very well last week in his debut for Bamond. (6) NOT AFRAID has to be more involved than he was last week, doesn't he?

Race 7

(6) MELMERBY BEACH really has done nothing wrong since the Annunziata purchase and he's quickly proven he belongs with this type; Bartlett drives again. (5) ATTA BOY DAN moves in a couple of spots tonight and will probably be firing hard from the gate. (7) PHIL YOUR BOOTS was last week's winner but may have to do it from off the pace tonight.

Race 8

(6) LORD OF MISRULE never got going in his his last couple but there's not a ton of speed inside of him and Sears could get aggressive. (1) DEMOCRACY N draws the best post and could be the default favorite; classy gelding has a live chance. (4) MC DYNAMITE picks up a fresh set of hands and could show more.

Race 9

(4) TWIN B HOLLISTER didn't get involved last week but his start prior he closed sharply and he's reunited with Bartlett tonight. (7) SAPPHIRE CITY returns to Yonkers after a failed try at The Meadowlands and we all know what he's capable of. (1) ROYAL HEART draws best and should be in line for a live trip.

Race 10

(1) ROLAND N ROCK was impressive in victory last week beating one notch lesser and he may be good enough to handle these. (3) SUNFIRE BLUE CHIP failed at odds-on last out and now loses Sears; clearly the price will be much better tonight. (5) CASIMIR JITTERBUG was Sears' choice for the streaking O'Suillivan barn.

Race 11

(6) YOU'RE MAJESTIC hit town last week and was a game winner; capable of repeating. (3) SOUL TRAIN has hit the ticket in five of six and he should be a player again. (1) LORENZO DREAM has loads of speed and the best draw.

Race 12

(3) TEXAS TERROR N rallied late for a board spot last week in the Open and it appears the recent import should have more to offer. (5) CAROL'S COMET was shaken off after a nice bid into a rated pace last out; threat with a smoother trip. (2) THESEYESRCRYING goes for four straight but exits claimers and seemingly is facing tougher.
