Best Bet: LUMINOSITY (3rd) Spot Play: BADIX HANOVER (7th) MEET STATS: 63 - 190 / $371.80 BEST BETS: 8 - 16 / $29.10 Race 1 (4) CONTINUAL HANOVER bumped to this level and sat the rail in the slop never really threatening; prior starts since moving to the DiDominico barn were solid and there's certainly no standouts in here. (1) BEACH MEMORIES was shaken off in his first start for new connections but at least he draws best again. (8) J T has been much-improved for his new connections and merits a look, even from post eight. Race 2 (1) ZOOMING showed some of that back class last week with an easy front-end score and he's certainly capable of repeating. (5) ROCK OF CASHEL has been pretty sharp for an extended period of time but he doesn't seem to win as often as he should. (4) MARCH AWARENESS sat in and raced evenly in his 2018 debut and the Garcia-Herrera trainee can have more to offer tonight. Race 3 (1) LUMINOSITY raced well last week with speed at both ends and that was after missing close to a month; classy Burke trainee should be able to handle these. (3) PANAMANIAN HANOVER gets needed post relief and can be more involved. (2) HOME'N DRY started the season well but seems to have tailed off; use caution. Race 4 (6) GRATIAN HANOVER raced well in his seasonal debut two back then was in a bit deep last week at Dover; gelding hails from sharp connections and has proven in the past he can go with this type. (1) POLAK A was a bit short on the front end in his local return but is certainly logical from this spot. (4) MACH PRIDE didn't fire on the rim last out but was a sharp off-the-pace winner the start prior. Race 5 (4) ROLAND N ROCK has been a bit inconsistent recently but we know his best effort can easily take this. (5) BOOK BINGE raced well in his 2018 debut, clearly a needed start; Garcia-Herrera trainee can utilize his early speed here. (8) SEELEY MAN moved to Team Bongiorno and destroyed lesser; I wouldn't be surprised to see him blasting off the gate. Race 6 (7) MELADY'S MONET has been rock-solid in all recent efforts and this race has the potential for plenty of action with speedy types signed on; classy vet can power by them all. (5) RUBBER DUCK got brutalized last week, never seeing the rail and understandably tired; obviously he's a big threat with the post relief if that last effort didn't take too much out of him. (8) NF HAPPENSTANCE has banked almost $75K already this year but the mare will have to get it done from post eight in order to repeat. Race 7 (6) BADIX HANOVER moves into the Banca barn via the $50K claim, keeps Bartlett and will be on the move early. (3) DYNAMIC YOUTH recaptured some of his old glory last season and he drops and gets post relief for his second seasonal start. (2) SEVENS HOPE A closed in willingly last week; consider for a share. Race 8 (1) THISJETSABOOKIN has really put in only one poor effort in recent memory and last week's race was solid, where he fired out, got jammed in and shook free with pace. He's the one to beat from this very generous starting spot. (3) GOKUDO HANOVER had a rough trip last out and still closed with decent pace; perhaps he's rounding back to form. (2) SOHO LENNON A has much to prove against Open types but he's been very sharp in his last few. Race 9 (4) LONG LIVE ROCK clearly needed last week's race and the Allard trainee can be ready to offer up much more tonight. (3) DREAM OUT LOUD N raced very respectably in the Open in his last three tries; veteran is sharp now. (6) BULLET BOB will be a price and can hit the ticket if he only has to make one run. Race 10 (5) GO COLLECT N was a solid winner at this $50K claiming level last week and has been sharp in all recent for DiDomenico; clearly deserves to be the pick against some unproven rivals. (3) SPORT BETTOR has been much-improved since moving to Team Bongiorno. (1) WE THINK ALIKE gets needed post relief in his second start off the Brandon Todd claim. Race 11 In a race that seems impossible to handicap, I'll keep my fingers crossed that (1) QUICK DEAL behaves himself behind the gate. If he does, he can go wire to wire. (3) UVA HANOVER debuts for Allard off the private purchase but will need to go faster than that last qualifier. (2) JACKS TO OPEN bumps up off a win and should be close up throughout. Race 12 (5) BAKERSFIELD emerged as a legit Open-type horse last year and went evenly last week in a needed start off the winter break; the Garcia-Herrera trainee seems capable of showing more tonight. (2) BETTOR ROCK ON N gives his all week after week and he'll break back through into the win column sooner rather than later. (1) CHUMLEE A is talented Down-under stock from Team Stalbaum who missed a nose at this level last week after cutting the mile, and he will likely be on the engine again tonight.
