Best Bet: WINDSONG LEO (2nd) Spot Play: WESTERN HILL (7th) MEET STATS: 32 - 93 / $215.20 BEST BETS: 5 - 8 / $17.60 Race 1 (1) STARSKY'S DREAM N was collared on the wire by a sharp rival last week but he draws best and assuming he stays sharp for his new barn off the claim he should be tough from this spot. (4) BEACH MEMORIES hasn't fired in his last two versus $50K claimers but he drops back to the level of his last win. (6) BEAT THE DRUM moves to 'Team Bongiorno' and obviously can be considered for a share. Race 2 (5) WINDSONG LEO faces some questionable foes here and was a winner two back at this level; Burke trainee appears to be a bit better than these. (2) CHEVALS CLIVESDALE moves back inside and figures to be more involved. (1) SECRECY was clear but hanging a bit off a live trip last week; still rates highly, however. Race 3 (6) SOHO WALLSTREET A raced big in defeat from a tough spot last week at The Meadowlands, his U.S. debut. Croghan trainee meets a pretty suspect field of NW20000 types here and that 15/1 morning line is just ridiculous. (1) THE LUNCH PAIL raced better than I thought last week off the holiday break and he draws best again. (4) ROCKNROLL WILDCATS has done nothing since moving to the Burke barn but he did race willingly in that qualifier. Race 4 (1) MACH TIME N had no chance last out but did pace home in 27 seconds; clearly the post relief makes a huge difference tonight. (4) QUICK ASA TRICK N was much the best beating lesser and the sharp sort must be considered. (3) BULLET BOB beat similar two back and has been in solid form since coming back from vacation. Race 5 (4) TECHTOR HANOVER could not fire into a rated pace last week but overall his form has been good for a rejuvenated outfit; chance here with the post edge on some primary rivals. (5) MCSPIDEY was game in defeat last out and was Stratton's choice. (7) MACON GEORGIA A has been awful for his new connections but note he was reclaimed by Lance Hudson, who has had plenty of success with the gelding. Race 6 (7) SOHO LENNON A is a bit post compromised tonight but he's been very sharp in his 2018 starts and doesn't meet anything special here. (2) TAURANGA gets both class and post relief, plus he returns to Bartlett. (4) GO COLLECT N has been racing well of late for DiDomenico. Race 7 (1) WESTERN HILL was much better last week, which is a better indication of what he's capable of; Bartlett can take him down the road tonight from his generously assigned starting spot. (4) GOKUDO HANOVER has been razor-sharp since hitting town for DiDomenico. (2) TAKE IT BACK TERRY seems to have regressed a bit in his two 2018 starts but he still must always be considered. Race 8 (4) TULLOW N ships back from New Jersey, gets Bartlett in the bike and may off slightly more value than (1) FRANCO RAYNER N, who is a fresh face from Down-under recently joining 'Team Bongirono' coming off a very willing race at Freehold and he'll attract plenty of attention from this spot. (2) ALLSTAR PARTNER has underachieved a bit locally but he does have good speed and an inside draw. Race 9 (1) SOTO seems to have too much speed and class to ignore from this spot. (3) BLOOD BROTHER didn't have a ton to offer last week but that was a needed start off over a month and he should be tighter tonight. (2) ROLAND N ROCK closed too late last out; closer to the pace tonight? Race 10 (5) DO OVER HANOVER could not fire off the rim trying to make a second move but perhaps he hits the front from this spot where he does his best running. (4) DON'TCALLMEFRANCIS has been razor-sharp and looks for four straight. (1) ESCAPE THE NEWS should be closer up from this spot and can land a share.
