MEET STATS: 13 - 48 / $55.60     BEST BETS: 2 - 4 / $6.80

Best Bet: WESTERN SHORE (2nd)

Spot Play: ELECTRIC SHOOTER (3rd)

Race 1

(6) FLEM N EM N has rallied well in his last two from tough spots versus better; Fraley trainee drops in class and I'll expect some early speed generated here. (1) PEMBROKE DEWEY hasn't fired in his last few but he does drop and draw best. (3) N J LAW will save ground from this spot and could be considered on the bottom of the ticket.

Race 2

(3) WESTERN SHORE went a big effort to be second best from the eight hole last out; veteran has a ton of class and looks very imposing from this spot. (1) MR TERRY FRA gets needed class and post relief and he'll be more involved. (2) SIR ZIGGYS Z TAM returns for Lachance and should land a share.

Race 3

(4) ELECTRIC SHOOTER has finished with a ton of pace from tough posts in his last two; Jack Franklin trainee is razor-sharp and he looks like a must-play from this spot. (1) LIGHT UP THE SKY has speed and the rail; good combo. (6) DR C'S Z TAM banked almost 100K in 2012 going 3 for 40; Lachance has a barn full of these types. This one is capable of rallying for a share.

Race 4

(1) FRIDAYNIGHTFLIGHT ships from Chicago and joins the lethal Casie Coleman barn. He deserves a long look from this spot. (3) NOBLE FALCON has all the class in the world, and he was a good second last week versus better. Veteran looks like a deserving favorite. (2) TIDEWATER TEDDY rallied well last week after shaking free.

Race 5

(3) HANDSOME PRINCE took care of business last week at odds-on; Burke trainee faces tougher tonight but he has the class to be competitive here. (2) KID COURAGEOUS A was a touch erratic last week but he did race well to hit the ticket. A similar result from this similar post can be expected tonight. (6) HI HO STEVERINO disappointed last week on the engine. Does he come from off the pace from this spot?

Race 6

(5) INTHEBLINKOFANEYE ships from Canada riding a big win streak for the Allard barn, which is showing some signs of life. He's got the speed to be involved early. (7) SOMETHING FOR DOC weakened after being used and setting a fast clip last week. Figure on him being forwardly placed again. (1) HERE WE GO AGAIN is assigned the rail and should try to protect position.

Race 7

(7) GREAT VINTAGE was off a month yet closed with plenty from a tough spot in last week's Open; he's good enough here to overcome the seven hole assignment. (4) CODE WORD was uncovered and going nowhere last out; perhaps he can drive on to the front from this spot. (3) ORR HANOVER returns off a failed try at The Meadowlands; Brennan drives.

Race 8

(6) ROCKIN ROBERT has closed a ton in his two starts this year and he's sharp enough to take another with a live trip. (7) ALL TIGER N tries Brennan tonight, consider at a price. (1) PROVEN LOVER is the speed of the speed and he draws best.

Race 9

(2) ELECTRIC OUI came up a bit short on the front end last week; another chance. (1) SHOW ME UP usually races well from inside post positions. (5) FLIPPER J toured the track in his first start back from vacation; expect more tonight.

Race 10

(3) VILLAGE BEAT certainly didn't disgrace himself with last week's uncovered effort. To the front tonight? (1) ROYAL MEETING was a good second to a well-rated rival last out and he draws well again. (6) FOX VALLEY TRIBAL is capable of blasting from the gate and he likely needed last week's start.

Race 11

(1) HYPNOTIST has been crying out for an inside post and he surely won't let this spot go to waste. (5) JACKED UP has been uninvolved in his last three from outside spots; he gets some post relief here and he is capable of being more involved. (2) LINE OFFICER closed well last out once shaking free.

Race 12

(4) SPECIAL T ROCKS is another classy one from the Cancelliere barn who was a game winner out of the eight hole. The bump up in class shouldn't be a problem. (2) LIFE UP FRONT returns to his preferred venue and he should be close up from this spot. (1) SOUTHWIND TABOR weakened a touch after chasing a fast pace last week; he draws the rail for the fourth consecutive week.
