(2) DREAM OUT LOUD N is always a live player from inside spots such as this. (5) MIDNIGHT LIGHTNING stepped up to this level last out and went a brutal eight hole trip; prior efforts were sharp and the Vallee charge should be a healthy price. Race 2 (3) NEWBIE gets needed post relief and was Bartlett's choice here; Banca trainee may try heading to the front. (4) BET YOU fits well at this level and has the looks of a live player. (2) PANCHESTER UNITED was in a good spot last week but they cancelled; he's inside here but arguably facing better stock tonight. Race 3 (3) GYPSY LEATHER showed a bit better life when dropped back to the $40K claiming level and he should be in line for a close-up trip from this spot. (2) WAR DADDY has turned into a speedster off the Brittany Robertson claim; he may lack the class of others in here but he draws well with the leading driver signed on. (5) BEACH MEMORIES steps back up off an easy win versus NW10000 types. Race 4 (2) NEXT SUCCESS got a brutal parked-out trip upon moving to the Bamond barn; 4-year-old switches to Bartlett and lands a good inside post. (3) DEMOCRACY N gets much-needed post relief and was good from similar spots in a couple of starts here last month. (1) HERE WE GO AGAIN looks like he's tailed off in his last couple but when on his game the veteran is more than capable. Race 5 (5) PACING MAJOR N tried it from off the pace last out and failed to fully fire in the stepped-up back half; Stratton has tactical options from this midpack post and should be a decent price in this competitive event. (3) RODEO ROCK has done nothing wrong in all recent efforts and must be included with the post edge. (4) BETTOR MEMORIES picks up Bartlett, lands a fair starting spot and has proven capable with these. Race 6 (2) SETTLEMOIR has had a hard time finding a winning spot recently but this looks like some of the softest competition he's faced in some time and he shouldn't let the opportunity pass. (1) SPORTY SPOOK A hasn't been all that great but he draws best and hails from live connections. (6) ALOTBETTOR N has flashed some ability and could be a closing threat for Team Bongiorno. Race 7 (2) TECHTOR HANOVER has been racing well in all recent efforts and now gets some needed class relief. (3) CHEVALS CLIVESDALE took a field of NW20000 types down the road at odds-on last out and can certainly repeat. (6) MCCLINCHIE N has raced well in his two U.S. starts for Vallee and he gets a juicy 20/1 morning line. Race 8 (1) BETTOR ROCK ON N has been on fire and is clearly the one to defeat from the best post. (4) STARSKY'S DREAM N is up in class off two straight wins; how hard does Holland push early? (9) TAURANGA has a win at this level two back and may be ignored in the wagering from this second-tier start. Race 9 It's taken a while but it seems (1) TAKE IT BACK TERRY is back on top of his game and the classy veteran is more than capable of winning again from this spot. (4) THE REV has had a solid year; fires from the gate tonight? (3) BUNGALOW BILL N is a good earner for Vallee and has been close up in all recent. Race 10 (2) BLOOD BROTHER gets the all-important combo of class and post relief; Banca trainee is clearly the one to beat. (3) SWING CITY blew away cheaper last out and could be sharp enough to contend here. (4) GRATIAN HANOVER fits well here and is always close with this type but seems to be becoming camera-shy. Race 11 (3) BAKERSFIELD gets the best of the 3 through 8 draw here and the Garcia-Herrera trainee has been competent with this type; he seems capable of the mild upset with a smooth trip. (5) SHANE ADAM steps back up to the Open ranks and he's beaten these in the past. (6) THE REAL ONE can beat these on any given day, but we all know how frustrating he is to wager on. Race 12 (1) BADIX HANOVER has speed, the best draw and meets a questionable field in the finale. (4) ARCHANGEL THREE returns locally for Burke and he looks much-improved recently; expect Brennan to have him on the move early.
