Yonkers: Saturday 11/9 Analysis

MEET STATS: 344 - 967 / $1882.10       BEST BETS: 47 - 75 / $156.90

Best Bet: FITZ’S Z TAM (5th)

Spot Play: MEANT TO BE ME (3rd)

Race 1

(3) RAFFERTY HANOVER gets a touch of post relief tonight and I would expect him to be more aggressively handled. (1) WHITE MOUNTAIN TOP returns locally off two easy wins versus lesser at Saratoga and he draws best; big threat with the hot Bartlett driving. (2) BUBBIE BOY had no excuse from the pocket last week; tough to endorse off that effort.

Race 2

(4) KEEMOSABE stopped on a dime last week but he enters a new barn tonight and I'm willing to forgive that effort. (1) COACH CAL broke leaving in two of his last three; obvious threat if he minds his manners. (8) N J LAW was reclaimed by DiDomenico and lands outside, but he could hit the ticket at a big price.

Race 3

(2) MEANT TO BE ME has had four races back from vacation and it's time for the veteran to step it up. (3) FANCY FOOTWORK drops out of claimers and finds a blank field here; Riedel trainee looks like a good fit. (6) GAMBLER'S TALE gets needed class relief tonight.

Race 4

(5) GOBAN has raced well in all recent efforts and he just needs some things to go his way in order to score here. (7) LYONS JOSEPHJNR was an easy winner at this level three back. (2) JERRY'S BROWN GOLD moves inside and has some class to him.

Race 5

(2) FITZ'S Z TAM finds a spot where he should take control and never look back. (3) CAM B ZIPPER broke for no reason last week; gelding should be close up again. (1) LUMBERJACK WILLIE arrives from Hoosier Park, where he had been racing well; worth a look.

Race 6

(2) KEYSTONE VELOCITY closed a ton last week, his first start off the bench. He can be even better tonight. (7) FRED AND GINGER never got involved last out but something tells me he'll be more aggressive off the gate tonight. (8) P H SUPERCAM looks for five in a row; former 15K claimer has his work cut out for him from this assigned post eight.

Race 7

(1) LONEWOLF CURRIER was too far back to threaten in the Messenger. Three-year-old has proven he can go with these more seasoned foes and he looms the one to beat from this spot. (4) ARDYNE ACE has done little wrong since arriving locally. (2) LETTUCEROCKU A bounced back with an improved effort last week.

Race 8

(3) ALL SPEED HANOVER was an easy winner when last at this level and he has a post edge on his main rivals. (7) URGENT ACTION needs an alert getaway and he could be trouble. (8) MACHS BEACH BOY has looked super since arriving locally but he may be done in by the tough post tonight.

Race 9

(4) SAPPHIRE CITY took care of business last week when he dropped down and he should be able to repeat versus these. (1) BJ'S GUY has hit the board in his last five tries and he's got a big chance from the rail. (6) SPECIAL FORCES has two blowout wins since joining the Burke barn.

Race 10

(4) KINGS LEGEND was second best in a solid try last week where he was aggressive early; he can prove best here with any sort of trip. (2) ARACACHE HANOVER has done nothing but burn money recently however this looks like his easiest spot in some time. (1) ORILLIA JOE raced well when last seen here and it was at this level with Holland in the bike.

Race 11

(1) ALL STEINAM drops a notch in class and draws best off his no-chance effort last out; big threat from the rail. (2) WAYNE THE LEFTY has quietly been in good shape and he's another that must be feared from this inside spot. (6) FOUR CORNERS is capable on his best day.

Race 12

(5) PANCETTA was unaggressively handled last week and never threatened; there are no standouts here and the four-year-old could be live from this spot. (2) HI HO STEVERINO raced well for second last out and he's a threat again from this inside post. (4) CLASSIC ROCK NROLL was a solid winner versus lesser last week.
