Best Bet: DO OVER HANOVER (10th) Spot Play: BIT OF A LEGEND N (6th) MEET STATS: 462 - 1319 / $2,496.40 BEST BETS: 62 - 112 / $205.20   Race 1 (6) TALK SHOW faltered at this level last week chasing from a loose pocket but he faces a group of questionable rivals in here and the price should be right. (1) SWING CITY rallied sharply for the score last out and that's two solid efforts since returning locally.  (2) SAPPHIRE CITY hasn't been all that great in his last few Yonkers efforts; use caution. Race 2 Just when I'm ready to give up on (1) PROVOCATIVEPRINCEN, he lands in a spot where I'm forced to strongly consider him, and will probably end up betting him again. (4) LIMELIGHT BEACH returns locally for Burke and should be firing to the front. (6) PARNU HANOVER faltered in his last at Pocono from off the pace; if Bartlett can get him out of there in good order he's got a big chance. Race 3 (3) THE REV can do it from on or even off the lead, like he did three back in an upset win. Goodell is back driving from a similar spot. (6) BAKERSFIELD tried to take a good Open field down the road last week and collapsed; clearly he fits with this type and should be a player if he can overcome the post. (7) WINGSONG LEO came from off the pace last out and closed stoutly; he can rally for a share at a price tonight. Race 4 (1) BETTOR ROCK ON N dropped in for a $50K tag last week and dug in gamely on the front end; he draws best tonight and can repeat as the chalk here. (4) BLAISE MM HANOVER had nothing to offer last out when pulled uncovered; maybe Merton tries firing from the gate to setup a better trip. (3) TAURANGA has been in solid form and won't be too far back from this spot. Race 5 (1) MACON GEORGIA A was both lucky and good last week and if he puts forth a similar effort I don't see anyone beating him. (4) WINDS OF CHANGE has steadily shown improvement since returning from a break and the Banca trainee could be ready for a top effort. (2) GYPSY LEATHER raced very well in defeat last out and this good post makes him a player. Race 6 (4) BIT OF A LEGEND N somehow got away 7th last week and finished well but had too far to come; the post relief in this open draw makes him a serious player here. (1) THE REAL ONE gets the rail despite beating these last week and may be overbet as a result; does Lachance get aggressive early to protect position, and will that hurt his chances late? I'm not accepting a short price to find out. (5) SCOTT ROCKS could be on the move early, which is his best game. Race 7 (5) PACING MAJOR N gets the post relief he craves and the Tritton trainee could actually be a decent price with some interesting shippers signed on. (3) BOSTON RED ROCKS is somehow still winless on the season, but this may be his easiest spot in some time. (1) WESTERN DYNASTY may be a touch below some others here talent-wise but the rail draw will help him work out a live trip. Race 8 (1) STARSKY'S DREAM N never got involved last week but he drops back to the level of his last win and is reunited with Bartlett. (5) ROCK N ROLL LEGACY was good two back, not so good last week, but he switches back to Merton. (4) ALTA JEROME N continues to disappoint; use caution. Race 9 (1) TOATSMYGOATS has actually been very good in his last three starts since returning locally and Holland can work out a winning trip from this spot versus some questionable rivals. (8) KEPT UNDER WRAPS A finally put it all together last out but that was a very easy spot; interesting that Bartlett sticks with him over a Banca trainee. (5) NEWBIE loses the aforementioned Bartlett but is capable of flashing early speed from this spot. Race 10 (7) DO OVER HANOVER loomed large ripping out of the pocket last week but then it all went wrong; the Allard trainee is razor-sharp and has proven capable of overcoming poor posts. (2) FEEL THE NEED A never got involved last week; overdue veteran is capable of better. (4) DEMOCRACY N has been very good in his last two since Bartlett took over the driving. Race 11 (5) GOKUDO HANOVER has been rock-solid since moving into the DiDomenico barn and he can power home with any sort of live trip. (6) MELMERBY BEACH is as inconsistent as they come but he does get some class relief tonight. (2) NATURAL LEDA generally isn't a winning threat at this level but he was pretty good last week. Race 12 (3) GRATIAN HANOVER gets some needed post relief and the Team Bongiorno charge could be ready for a top effort. (4) SUNFIRE BLUE CHIP returns to Yonkers, also with class relief, and seems the one to beat. (1) ANOTHER DAILY COPY has had no excuse in his last couple; use caution.
