FINAL 2013 MEET STATS:

392 - 1111 / $2203.00

BEST BETS: 51 - 87 / $168.90

Best Bet: BETTOR’S EDGE (6th)

Spot Play: A J CORBELLI (3rd)

Race 1

(1) DASH N has raced well in all of his recent efforts and if he maintained his good form over the holiday break he may be tough to beat. (4) P H POWERPLAY looks for three straight since the Fraley claim. (3) SOUTHWIND TABOR is in for a tag tonight (perhaps for the first time in his long career); Brennan drives tonight.

Race 2

(1) SHARK'S LEGACY drops and gets post relief. He was racing well versus better here last summer. (4) HI HO STEVERINO also drops in class and looks like a major player. (3) MACRAIDER N has done nothing since being claimed for $40K; at least he drops and moves inside tonight.

Race 3

(4) A J CORBELLI has loads of talent and through one night of racing (as of this writing) the Allard stock has looked sharp. (1) JERRY'S BROWN GOLD usually gives a good accounting of himself from inside posts. (3) LAWGIVER HANOVER was a winner at this level three back for Vallee.

Race 4

(3) DUKES UP closed stoutly at this level three back when Brennan drove; worth a look. (1) SAND BENELLI gets much-needed post relief tonight and he'll make his presence felt from this spot. (2) TALKTOMECOURAGE N drops out of claimers and draws well enough.

Race 5

(3) ANDY BARAN debuts for new connections and Goodell drives tonight; he could be worth a try here at a price. (1) MOVEOUTOFMYWAY arrives locally off a sharp closing rally at The Meadowlands and he'll attract attention at the windows. (4) MCCEDES has loads of class and plenty of speed at his disposal.

Race 6

(3) BETTOR'S EDGE arrives locally off a determined score last week at The Meadowlands. He gets lucky with a good draw and the Burke trainee is clearly the one to beat. (5) DALLENBACH HANOVER is in career form and he should be forwardly placed off the gate. (2) DREAM OUT LOUD N should save ground from this spot and he can hold for a share.

Race 7

(5) VILLAGE BEAT has clearly tailed off in recent efforts but the veteran does fit with this type and I don't think he would be a total shock here. (1) ERLE DALE N will likely take all the money but he's never raced particularly well here. (6) SOMETHING FOR DOC has clearly improved since the barn change but he's still got a long way to go.

Race 8

(4) DINNER GUEST has been solid in three of his last five efforts and he could get the jump on likely favorite (6) FAT MANS ALLEY. The latter is the one to beat but he may need some help from this spot. (5) STONEHOUSE ADAM qualified effectively on the big track for Burke.

Race 9

(5) ROADWAY is probably best here but he gets a very weak and nervous vote. (2) NATHAN FEELSGOOD may have a conditioning edge having raced last week at The Meadowlands. (1) CAVIART KEY has speed and the best draw.

Race 10

(5) I FOUGHT DALAW was a solid money-earner last year and he appears to be a good fit at this level. (2) ORILLIA JOE closed stoutly to score as the favorite two back. (3) MR COOLIE returns locally, has some speed.

Race 11

(4) ROLLWITHITHARRY has been a solid earner for Dube and DiDomenico; he only needs some sort of live trip to score here. (2) LIGHTNING RAIDER N returns locally and he's capable from this inside post. (5) FOUR CORNERS will be a big threat if he can get away from the gate alertly.

Race 12

(3) UNCLE GOODFELLOW has knocked heads with some good ones in Pennsylvania. Toss out his last effort where he broke and he looks to stack up nicely against these. (2) FASTLANELUKE takes another step up the class ladder looking for four straight. (6) NOB HILL HIGH arguably had an off year in 2013 yet he still banked over $175K. With a hot pace up front he can be a closing threat.
