MEET STATS: 316 - 906 / $1755.50      BEST BETS: 44 - 72 / $145.80

Best Bet: CHINA GRILL (6th)

Spot Play: ELECTRIC SHOOTER (12th)

Race 1

(4) BIG JER rallied for a minor share in his debut at this level; Rob Harmon trainee faces a very soft field tonight and he would be no surprise here. (2) ART FOR ARTS SAKE was flat last week versus a tougher field; I guess he's the one to beat here. (1) FOREIGN OFFICER is better than that debacle last out, where he was used early and quit badly.

Race 2

(4) RAFFERTY HANOVER was my pick last week but he scratched-sick; I'm giving him another chance tonight. (2) CC RACY gets tested for class but he's sharp. (1) VALENTINO collapsed on the front end in what was likely a needed start; he can be tighter tonight.

Race 3

(1) SAMANDAR hasn't done anything worth noting recently, however he drops and gets post relief tonight. (6) OUTRAGEOUS ART caved in on the front end at odds-on last out; he still remains a threat here, however. (8) DONT FOOL WITH ME was live on the board and on the track last week; only problem here is the post.

Race 4

(4) STONEBRIDGE TONIC raced well last week from a tough spot last week and the Mark Ford trainee appears overdue. (5) WESTERN DAKOTA drops for Vallee and should be involved. (8) MC DYNAMITE suffered an equipment break while sitting a perfect trip last out; gelding may still be sharp.

Race 5

(1) REPORT FOR DUTY N hasn't proven he can make it the duration lately but he deserves one more chance from this spot. (3) MR PERSEVERENCE won off the claim last out and gets a free ride at this level. (6) I'M THE PIED PIPER hails from Burke, could threaten.

Race 6

(1) CHINA GRILL gets blessed with an inside draw tonight and that makes this classy Lachance gelding the one to beat. (2) PAN FROM NANTUCKET parlayed a perfect trip into a game score last week; he's in career form now. (8) SAPPHIRE CITY gets stuck in yet another eight hole but he's capable of rallying for a share with smooth sailing.

Race 7

(2) P H SUPERCAM was a pocket-rocket winner last week and the Fraley trainee can repeat. (3) HEMER'S CARD SHARK gets a little post relief and he can rally late off a ground-saving trip. (1) MR HASANI N cruised in that qualifier and he's competitive with this type.

Race 8

(4) FAT MANS ALLEY dug in stubbornly but was nipped on the wire after a multiple-move effort last week; gelding can take this with any sort of trip. (2) ROLLWITHITHARRY has been rock-solid since the barn change to DiDomenico. (1) NOBLE FALCON drops from the Open ranks and draws best; big threat.

Race 9

(1) PONTIAC LUCK really had no chance of reaching last week and he can be excused for that effort; two back was an easy well-rated score. (3) BJ'S GUY never fired in the lane after sitting a perfect trip last out; he should be forwardly placed again. (4) HERE WE GO AGAIN has suddenly become a winning machine out of town.

Race 10

(5) MAJOR BOMBAY got going too late in last but he did finish with good pace; threat with good early placement. (1) FITZ'S Z TAM gets much-needed post relief. (3) WHOGOESFIRST returns locally and has had success here in the past.

Race 11

(5) MACHS BEACH BOY stormed home from nowhere in his local debut for Lachance; he will garner plenty of respect based on that effort. (8) R CAAN was solid in victory last out; only problem here is the post. (4) THE BRUISER went an insane trip last week and was dead-game to the wire.

Race 12

(5) ELECTRIC SHOOTER gets some class relief tonight and his last victory was at this level with Brennan in the bike. (2) SIR MELO'S Z TAM moves inside, could save ground and rally late. (4) OFFICERNAGENTLEMAN has been a decent money-earner since arriving locally.
