Yonkers: Monday 9/24 Analysis

MEET STATS: 261 - 798 / $1360.90

Best Bet: OSCAR OSCAR (10th)     Spot Play: WILLIE BOOTS (7th)

Race 1

(6) MIDNIGHT BLUE was likely facing better over at Philly; filly did show a win here last month. (8) AINT GOT A HOME appears to have the ability to overcome the tough post. (5) BLANCA RAYA picks up Stratton for her local debut, could be best of the rest in this forgettable race.

Race 2

(6) TOUCHDOWN FRANCO gets some needed class relief and Brennan drives. (1) RYDEABOUT draws best, looks for three in a row and would appear pretty logical from this spot. (2) SIR CIRO is capable of a share on his best day, especially from the inside post.

Race 3

(2) MARYMAC IS A WHACK has been a bit flat lately at Philly, but that was against some tough ones; McDermott trainee can get well in a hurry from this spot. (1) NIGHTLY TERROR rallied from the eight hole upon arrival, now draws best. (6) HAYWORTH BLUE CHIP exits NYSS action.

Race 4

(2) NAUGHTY GIRL is still a maiden in her brief career but her last few haven't been all that bad; Brennan's choice. (1) MY LOVE BI was decent last out in Pennsylvania. (5) JAKE BE NIMBLE picks up Sears upon arrival and perhaps he can rally for a share.

Race 5

(1) SECLUDED ISLAND has a seasoning edge on likely favorite (3) IM THE PIED PIPER and perhaps he can pounce from the likely pocket trip. The latter is a sharp-looking three-year-old from Burke who will attract plenty of attention. (5) SIR HOWIES Z TAM has been decent since the barn change to DiBartolo.

Race 6

(1) SHOTGUN A had no realistic chance last week; tonight from the rail Pantaleano can work out a trip. (3) WAYWARD SON was Brennan's choice over the Fraley trainee and this gelding drops in for a tag. (4) VESUVIO GRANDE has been a steady commodity for the Buter barn.

Race 7

(2) WILLIE BOOTS gets some class relief in his second start back from vacation and with the good post he should be ready to roll. (3) SAMS ESCAPE has been showing signs of life recently. (4) BRICKYARD BREWER can save ground and land a share for Ray Baynes.

Race 8

(6) BETTOR DESIGN had plenty of pace despite an impossible trip last week; Virgil Morgan, Jr. trainee can be an attractive price from this spot. (2) ROADSIDE DELIGHT had a useful effort in defeat last week. (5) WHATSITTOYOUGRANT has been racing decently of late; I'm kind of surprised he's in for this tag.

Race 9

(1) RECENT NEWS jogged in his last two out of town; lets see if he can keep it up for his new barn. (2) ARSENAL also ships in riding a winning streak. (4) OUREA NOURRIR was racing well when last seen here.

Race 10

(4) OSCAR OSCAR failed versus better when last seen here; Team Miller charge returns in a spot where he can try to bottom this field. (7) WESTERN CHURCHILL drops in class, needs to navigate the outside post. (1) MIAS BOLD MANEUVER showed a new dimension by coming from way back at Pocono; Croghan trainee appears to have found his stride.

Race 11

(3) PACIFIC DESPERADO appears more than capable with these, but the Vallee trainee appears a bit camera shy; Brennan sticks, however. (1) OK BRAVEHEART usually races well with inside posts. (5) HURRIKANE SCOTTY J is erratic, yet talented; worth including.

Race 12

(3) SAINT WILLIAM A has been close up in all recent starts from inside posts; Stalbaum is eventually going to get lucky and win one. (1) MYSTIC DESIRE failed on the front end last week, but it was a useful effort. (8) STONEBRIDGE TONIC faces a tough task from post eight.
