MEET STATS: 198 - 605 / $936.80
Best Bet: MOSEE TERROR (11th) Spot Play: ART FOR ARTS SAKE (8th)
Race 1
(5) ARTIC BLUE hasn't done much since returning from that layoff but he faces a very suspect field of bottom-level claimers. (4) IM A GORDY TOO closed with good pace at a big price after saving ground last out; he's got back class. (2) KAMANCHE SUN looks like the speed here, endurance may be a problem.
Race 2
(7) TIA MARIA KOSMOS hails from the Buter barn, which has been kind of flat recently, but this mare is dropping and is impossible to ignore at this level. (3) HIGH PAN TOLERANCE has been racing decently at The Meadowlands. (5) SWAGGER BEGONIA has been a steady check-earner locally.
Race 3
(4) CARSON CITY ROAD was pretty game in defeat locally two back; Mark Ford trainee has some back class and he should be forwardly placed here. (1) TUFFOFTHETOUGHEST draws best and we all know Schnittker will be gunning to protect position. (3) DEFIANCE N returns from the layoff at a reduced level.
Race 4
(1) NOWERLAND FIREBIRD was a sharp winner from a similar spot two back; mare should take this. (2) RULE BY STRENGTH gets post relief and looms the main threat. (4) BATTLESHOE VIOLA has hit the board in four of six since arriving.
Race 5
(2) LITERATE HANOVER finished mildly for a share from the seven hole upon dropping to this level; he can be more prominently placed from the inside post. (3) INDIAN GIVER N has tailed off in his last couple but the class relief should suit him well tonight. (6) LILYS HI HO could not reach last out; prior effort was solid.
Race 6
(3) SPRING FLING is back at the level of the claim and he should be heading to the front. (1) WINDSUN BELLAGIO switches to Brennan; that's all you need to know. (2) FLASHY LADY gets her first good post in some time.
Race 7
(6) LADYS ART finished with plenty of pace two back versus this type, then raced well in Stakes action; clearly the one to beat here. (4) MICKEY BLU returns from Philly where she was an off-the-pace winner. (3) SIR LBS Z TAM also gets class relief tonight.
Race 8
(5) ART FOR ARTS SAKE was facing tons better when last seen here and I'd be surprised if he didn't handle these. (1) RU READY TO ROCK has speed and should have smooth sailing from the rail. (7) E STREET PLAN is sharp, but he's got come class rivals inside of him.
Race 9
(2) KID COURAGEOUS A didn't show all that much last out for Team Stalbaum but I'm giving him one more chance. (5) DEAR MAC has been plying his trade here forever, and he's a perfect fit at this level. (3) PHILANTHROPIST should be close enough to rally for a share.
Race 10
(7) RAFFERTY HANOVER was a blowout winner right off the claim, then showed plenty of vigor in that prep at Pocono. With some tough ones inside of him, he may be some value tonight. (3) HI HO STEVERINO was very game in defeat last out, now he debuts for Casie Coleman. (4) NY ICE changes to the Buter barn, drops in class.
Race 11
(1) MOSEE TERROR goes for another new barn but he remains sharp and he should trip out from this spot. (3) LUCKY LAND showed speed from post seven, perhaps we can expect it from post three. (7) WEIGH THE ODDS didn't inspire much confidence with those two recent victories.
Race 12
(8) RYDER BLUE CHIP appears to be the most accomplished of these and she looks good enough to overcome the eight hole. (4) THINKYOUCANDANCE looks for four in a row; logical. (1) HEAVENS BETTORHALF can be considered from the rail.

Best Bets
GLASS ART sure looks well spotted for his first start since November, as he lands in a grass route that's decidedly short on speed, and he gets the services of Joe Bravo, who specializes in these scenarios; he scored here last year in his seasonal bow in a very similar spot, as that was another race light on pace, and he can steal this if he's in fact able to slow things down up front.
