Yonkers: Monday 6/22 Analysis

Race 7 - $10,000 Guaranteed Pick Five Pool

MEET STATS: 176 - 549 / $953.60 BEST BETS: 25 - 44 / $87.90

Spot Play: VICTORIA’S MUNKY (1st)

Race 1

(4) VICTORIA'S MUNKY switches to one of the leading drivers at the track and must be played off that angle. (1) NATY gets needed post relief and gets Sears in the bike. (3) DELIGHTFUL PLAN raced evenly in her two local appearances and she could hit the ticket in this weak field.

Race 2

(6) ONE AND ONLY ships in for Sabot, keeps Bartlett in the bike and does have some back class to call upon. (2) COLONIAL ROAD was a bit better last out and has the live Scott Zeron driving. (5) COLD BATH returns to Yonkers at a reduced level and he's capable on his best day.

Race 3

(4) BLADE SEELSTER was a bit better last out after a long dry spell and when right he's as good or better than these. (5) REPORT FOR DUTY N has found a home at this reduced level and he debuts for new connections tonight. (1) CRIMSON CRUISER bumps up a notch off a good return effort.

Race 4

(4) RAGE N RYAN was used in the early stages last week and tired late; he goes for Garcia-Herrera now via claim and should be heading to the front. (1) TRIGGER FINGER reappears at Yonkers and I recall him being competitive with better. (2) V I P BAYAMA gets needed post relief for Lachance.

Race 5

(2) STEUBEN PATRIOT returns locally for Team Stalbaum off a nice freshener at Monticello and he draws inside his main competition. (3) IDEAL WILLIE has been second best in his last four, recently burning money. Still a threat for the top spot, however. (5) KEHMMYWOOD drops in class and will be showing more.

Race 6

(4) TWIN B HOLLISTER has just been racing evenly recently but the Simpson trainee has beaten better than these in the past. (2) MY TEMUDJIN N returns from The Meadowlands where he's been picking up small checks and much like the top choice he's won locally in a higher class. (6) LORD OF MISRULE picks up Dube, who may get aggressive early.

Race 7

(3) OHOKA TEXAS N was an upset winner versus lesser last week at Pocono and he ships in for connections who usually have them ready; worth a look in this wide-open affair. (4) ART OF ILLUSION drops and gets needed post relief; logical. (5) HI HO STEVERINO was scratched sick from the rail last week when I liked him; Bamond trainee fits at this level.

Race 8

(5) LYONS SHADOW is a half length shy of a four race win streak to start her season; late bloomer looks sharpest here. (2) SHAKAI HANOVER ships in for Croghan looking to break the seasonal skid after a nice freshman campaign. (6) HEAVEN ON EARTH upset the top choice when last seen here.

Race 9

(5) VALIDUS DEO was second best last week to a sharp rival and he should be able to take control versus these. (3) MONTREAL PHIL isn't what he used to be but he should still be competitive here. (1) SOUTHERN ALLIE is in line for a perfect trip from this spot.

Race 10

(6) DALLENBACH HANOVER blew away cheaper last out and the classy veteran shouldn't have a problem with the class hike. (3) ALLSTAR PARTNER hasn't won in the last two years which clearly is a red flag but the talent is there. (1) MAINLAND KEY N gets the best post and should be looking to secure early position.

Race 11

(2) SCARLET CHASER had no chance in his last two races from outside posts. With the move inside he should be in line for a winning trip. (7) BULLET BOB was a well-rated winner last week and should be firing from the gate again. (1) MC RUSTY almost got there last out at a huge price.
