MEET STATS: 164 - 471 / $768.90

Best Bet: MOJO HALL (9th)       Spot Play: AFRICAN QUEEN (5th)

Race 1

(7) GRANDE SEELSTER ships south for Josh Green off two sharp efforts and the four-year-old may be good enough to overcome the poor post. (3) ANDY BARAN is better than he's been showing. (6) SPENCER B was Stratton's choice over a logical contender; maybe he knows something we don't.

Race 2

(2) WINBAK DREAM is accustomed to facing better than this; Lachance should take the mare down the road. (1) CINDERELLA MAN seems to stall on the rim every week; maybe he can braven up with a rail trip. (7) S F ACEINTHEHOLE has plenty of back class.

Race 3

(3) KENTUCKY ALL STAR has looked okay in her brief career and she could get the best of this forgettable group. (3) WING AND A SHARE ships in for live connections. (1) DESTINYS CALLING also ships in, draws best.

Race 4

(4) TOUCHDOWN FRANCO returns from Monti off a nice front-end score and Sears picks up the drive. (3) TSARINA gets post relief and was second best from the rail two back. (1) PHOTO RULES is sharp, but he's missed more time than the rest.

Race 5

(2) AFRICAN QUEEN has raced well enough to win in her last two starts, but she was gunned down in both races; maybe tonight's the night. (4) HEPBURN BLUE CHIP gained some good experience racing in NY bred events. (1) HEARTS N FLOWERS also drops out of stakes action and she draws best.

Race 6

(3) CREDIT LIMIT has one win over the last two years, but he always seems close; this is definitely a spot where he can win. (2) WINDSUN BELLAGIO was a winner two back but he broke midstretch; I almost felt bad for his connections after that race. Sears drives tonight. (8) SUNSET GENTELMAN needs help from this spot, but he's capable.

Race 7

On the surface, (1) BUTN YOUR SHIRT ED's effort last out was awful, but he was a distant uncovered into a well-rated pace and never had a realistic chance to gain; I'm willing to forgive that effort and give him another chance. (3) BETHS BOY used to be good; what happened? (4) CAM VAN BUSSEL is the logical favorite based on his current form; but I have absolutely no confidence in him.

Race 8

(6) I GOT SKILLS returns to Brennan, could be best in another forgettable race. (2) QUEENS OR BETTER raced okay from the eight hole in her local appearance here last month. (1) MIRACLE LYNN joins the Godinez barn and draws best.

Race 9

(6) MOJO HALL debuts for Casie Coleman via claim and was Brennan's choice over the sharp Garcia-Herrera trainee. (2) RISE ABOVE IT tries Dube tonight and has been solid since the barn change. (4) TIGER WILLIAMS has had his moments here recently.

Race 10

(4) STONEBRIDGE ROCKET had pace at both ends of his mile last out; MacDonald may be able to coax enough speed out of him to clear the lead. (5) SHORTSTACKED drops and picks up Brennan; I don't think he would shock anybody here. (6) TOUCH AND GO also drops and he's been competitive with better, but he gets an unfavorable post draw.

Race 11

(7) LILYS HI HO gets yet another poor post but this race is filled with cheap speed, so who know what's going to happen. (5) RED MILE ROAD was a game front-end winner last out at Philly. (1) SUPREME EDITION N always shows up with a good effort from inside posts.

Race 12

(7) ZELLWEGER BLUE CHIP has raced well in NYSS action without a win to show for it; filly can braven up against this group. (6) MAJOR CRUSH should be  forwardly placed off the gate for Bartlett. (1) TANZANITE HANOVER returns for Brandon Simpson and was a decent closing second here last month; Holland drives tonight.
