Best Bet: STEALTH BOMBER (12th) Spot Play: CONWAY BEACH A (1st) MEET STATS: 166 - 532 / $943.30 BEST BETS: 25 - 43 / $88.00 Race 1 (3) CONWAY BEACH A was looking good until that sudden ugly break on the final turn last week. I assume since she's right back in there's nothing wrong with her. (5) PAINTED LADY was wiped out by the top choice when she loomed for a large share; obviously we can excuse that race. (4) BETTER THAN HAPPY was a lucky winner in her 2018 debut and she hails from a hot barn. Race 2 (6) TOBER and (2) SPRINGBANK SAM N are simply better than these and one of them has to win. I'll go with Tober, who may be a slightly better price. (1) SEXY P V has always been a bit erratic and may be cautiously handled tonight coming off the breaks and the qualifier. Race 3 (3) MATINEE FASHION lands in a good spot in his local return and may just be a bit faster than these. (4) DAMION DIESEL HAHN has finished well in his last two for Schnittker and now moves in a couple of spots. (2) PLACE PANDOME is a lightly raced 4-year-old who did pace a decent last quarter at Philly. Race 4 (1) O U SEXY GUY gets much-needed post relief tonight and that may get him over the top. (7) HERE'S THE MAGIC has some back strong in 2018 and was nipped by a sharp rival last week; he's got the speed to overcome the outside post. (5) ARMOR HANOVER has back class and may be capable of turning things around. Race 5 (1) IDEAL CLASSIC enjoyed a good trip to score the upset last week finishing up strongly and she seems capable of repeating from this spot. (4) WINDSUN BROOKLYN fits nicely with this type but seems a bit camera-shy; use caution. (3) JENNA HANOVER was Bartlett's choice and they teamed up to win two back. Race 6 (1) CHEYENNE REIJANE has looked like a new horse since moving into the Jenn Bongiorno barn and he has a post edge here on his rivals. (3) KEYSTONE PHOENIX has been rock-solid every start for Schnittker and is clearly sharp enough to take this. (5) TOUREG SEELSTER two-moved and wired them last week; has a chance but may need to be faster. Race 7 (4) HEAVENS DANCER has been very good in her last three for Cory Stratton and his brother is back in the bike; top billing here in a competitive event. (2) PULL THE SHADE rallied well for second last week and figures for a big share again. (5) ONEIDA BLUE CHIP has been good for Mike Simons since shipping in and she was a well-rated winner last out. Race 8 (3) HANDSOFFMYCHIPS hiked to this level last week and finished with pace once escaping a shuffle; perhaps the results can be better tonight with more aggressive handling. (1) AMERICA FIRST hasn't been awful in two local starts and he merits consideration from the best post. (4) NO TALKING hails from Team Bongiorno which makes him a contender but he's missed some time. Race 9 (1) PEPPER GUY did some good things in the Sagamore and was facing some good stock out of town; this is a competitive race but he deserves top billing from this inside spot. (7) HORSING AROUND understandably tired last week after a tough trip and he's stuck outside again but he's been sharp and can be included at what should be a healthy price. (5) AMERICANFIREWATER also had a tough trip; he can go much better here if covered up. Race 10 (1) BULLVILLESTEPHANIE has hinted at high speed out of town and seems to be getting better; mare may be good enough to take these down the road. (2) OCEANIA has been razor-sharp in her four 2018 starts. (5) TICA HANOVER always puts in a good effort, but always seems to come up just short. Race 11 (3) SGT PAPA DADDY was never in doubt last week on the front end; he moves up to NW8 tonight but may be sharp enough to repeat. (5) CAROLINA BEACH enjoyed great cover and delivered upon arrival; he's also a threat to repeat. (7) SHNEONUCRZYDIAMND A returns off a great try at Philly but he has to overcome the outside post. Race 12 (4) STEALTH BOMBER returns to Yonkers, is reunited with Bartlett and his last local race that was a solid eight-hole try; he gets my endorsement but I'm not thrilled about that short morning line. (2) SUMMER SIDE has plenty of ability for Schnittker, who as noted multiple times has been very live lately with his overnight stock.
