Best Bet: SHNEONUCRZYDIAMND A (6th) Spot Play: BULLVILLEKARLA (1st) MEET STATS: 173 - 556 / $977.80 BEST BETS: 25 - 45 / $88.00 Race 1 (6) BULLVILLEKARLA may have gone too slowly on the front end last week inviting pressure but she drops back to the level of her win three back, returns to Bartlett and should be a better price than the logical (1) CONWAY BEACH A. The latter got going too late last out but should be good to go from this spot. (2) STEP BEYOND has raced decently in her two seasonal starts across the river for Burke. Race 2 If (3) LEAR SEESLTER puts in an effort similar to three back he can beat these. (2) DAMION DIESEL HAHN has raced pretty well in his last few for Schnittker. (7) IMSTAYINALIVE had some pace but could not reach upon arrival for Lachance and he's stuck outside again; tough to predict his trip tonight. Race 3 (3) BAG PIPE MAJOR debuts for new connections with Lasix added and qualified decently; may be worth a play in a tough-to-figure race. (6) SPYDERTWOYBANANA has looked good in two starts at Philly. (5) NATIVE'S BEST BET has hit the ticket in his last three and may be forwardly placed from this spot. Race 4 (2) BRICKYARD QUEENIE may not be the craziest longshot here in a race with no standouts; Baynes trainee has been close up from inside posts in the past. (4) WINDSUN BROOKLYN seems to be the one to beat and probably won't offer much value. (5) JENNA HANOVER could be leaving the gate from this spot. Race 5 (1) TREMENDOUS PLAY kept up well with better rivals to be second best last week and he can get the best of these from the rail slot. (2) LATE MAIL N had no chance last out and was used hard the start prior; he should be stalking from this spot and can be right there at the wire. (7) HORSING AROUND has been sharp for weeks but lands another tough outside spot; maybe he can sneak into the number at a price. Race 6 (2) SHNEONUCRZYDIAMND A has been super-game recently and figures to get a much better trip from this spot. (1) BRAVE WORLD was going well in the late stages last week and he has speed to set up a good trip from this inside spot. (5) SUMMER SIDE was a well-rated winner last week for Schnittker and he has the talent to repeat but he will likely have to work harder. Race 7 (2) KEYSTONE PHOENIX hasn't put in a bad effort all year for Schnittker and he remains a solid threat as long as he keeps drawing well. (3) VALRHONA doesn't win that often but he's usually close. (6) NO TALKING needed last week's start and could be tighter going third start for the Bongiorno barn. Race 8 (1) ANDY'S IDEAL has been a good second in his three 2018 starts and he's due to break through eventually. (5) SUPERIOR RAVEN ships from upstate for Richard Silverman off a win and they must me confident he will fit well here. (3) INDEPENDENT ONE has just been racing evenly over at Pocono for Allard and he did break in a Yonkers start last Fall; use caution. Race 9 (1) BEAT THE DRUM has been solid all year for multiple connections and the classy veteran is clearly the one to beat from this spot. (3) HOT DEUCE drops back to the level of his last win and the freelegged pacer should be on the move early. (5) SWING CITY had a good trip last week and proved sharp; he should be a player again. Race 10 (4) D GS ELSA gets some needed post relief and the mare could be more involved from this spot at a good price. (1) HEAVENS DANCER came up short last out at odds-on but did battle stubbornly to the wire; player again from the best post. (8) OCEANIA would be my top pick if not for the post; can Zeron get her involved from way out there? Race 11 (1) SGT PAPA DADDY gave way under harsh pressure last week but could rebound if left alone on the front end. (3) POINT SOMEWHERELSE is clearly off his game but gets a driver change to Zeron; awakens? (2) BAMSKI gets much-needed post relief. Race 12 (3) STATESMAN N and (4) THE REAL ONE are a couple of real classy veterans and I expect one of them to win this; I'll give the edge to the inside one who may have a tactical advantage. (1) SEEL THE DEAL N won up at Monti in his first U.S. start and we'll see if he's good enough right now to compete with this type.
