MEET STATS: 133 - 388 / $641.50

Best Bet: KID CARSON (6th)     Spot Play: MAMA MADE ME BLUE (5th)

Race 1

(5) RED MILE ROAD was reclaimed by Virgil Morgan Jr., who obviously must like this gelding; to the front? (1) HE'S GREAT stays at the same level off a win, but this is a much tougher field. (3) ACTIVATOR returns into a decent spot and he can be involved here.

Race 2

(5) SUNSET GENTELMAN has been much better in his last three and he seems capable here with a trip. (4) LONG STORY SHORT swept the field last week from an impossible spot but this gelding is erratic and I wouldn't be shocked if he flopped tonight. (3) WINDSUN BELLAGIO hasn't done anything in recent memory but it's impossible to ignore that fact that Sears is driving tonight.

Race 3

(4) ENRY hasn't been awful in recent outings and he does drop in class tonight; maybe. (2) DRAGON ISLAND is likely the one to beat, but he's missed a couple of weeks. (3) BAD TIME folded up badly last week.

Race 4

(1) PFORTYSEVEN GIRL was good in her last local appearance and she returns with the best post; driver Mark MacDonald seems to finally be finding his stride. (6) NEW YORK KITTY is a nicely-bred first-timer from Casie Coleman who showed nice energy in that qualifier. (2) MICKEY BLU should be close up.

Race 5

(2) MAMA MADE ME BLUE appeared to be well-meant but looked like he ran up on a rival early in his local debut; chance to redeem himself here at a better price. (7) S F ACEINTHEHOLE plunges in class, has speed. (1) SAN REMO KOSMOS was a bit flat last week; Brennan drives again and he gets another crack at the rail.

Race 6

(1) KID CARSON drops to a more appropriate level and he should take care of business. (2) PHILANTHROPIST also drops, draws better, has Sears driving and is the obvious main threat for the top choice. (4) YUMA HANOVER has a shot to save ground from this spot and he could hold off the rest.

Race 7

(3) TANGO DANCER has basically been awful since the Al Meyer claim but he drops in class tonight and faces no world-beaters here. (1) GET PACKIN deserves to be the favorite; can he get the Pick-4 off to a chalky start? (8) MONTANACHAMPIONNE was totally lost last week at odds-on; she'll be a better price tonight if you like her chances.

Race 8

(5) EXCEL NINE has never been a prolific winner but he drops and this looks like a spot for him to excel (no pun intended). (1) WINBAK FOX has class and he tightened well at Tioga. (7) LITTLE PRINCE has raced well here in the past.

Race 9

(2) I GOT SKILLZ has some hidden ability and she appears to be on the threshold of a breakout win; Brennan picks up the drive tonight. (4) POCO GRANNY ships in for Team Stalbaum, looks like a good fit. (1) CAPE MARJ should be close to the action.

Race 10

(3) DEEP FINESSE flashed early speed before tiring last week; he gets a better post here and Sears drives again. (5) EVENING JOB proved pretty stubborn before tiring in his first for new connections. (1) EAGLE NOW has back class, will it resurface?

Race 11

(6) LISTOWEL closed a ton from too far back; four-year-old has been pretty impressive in his last few and he's worth a shot here. (7) WILLIE BOOTS is the obvious one to beat, even from the poor post. (2) COSMICPEDIA was outkicked to the lead last week, sat and finished only evenly; prior efforts were super.
