Best Bet: JK JAZZITUP (10th) Spot Play: SHOWMEYOURGUNS (2nd) MEET STATS: 116 - 378 / $646.10 BEST BETS: 16 - 30 / $58.40 Race 1 (7) OSTRO HANOVER hit town last week and quickly proved he belonged; rapidly improving colt will have to be even better tonight and we'll see if he's up to the task. (4) ROCK N ROLL RUDY lands in a much better spot tonight and should be a player. (2) CHEYENNE REIJANE gets much-needed post relief. Race 2 (7) SHOWMEYOURGUNS has raced well at Yonkers plenty of times in the past and should easily be the best price of the contenders. (4) LONG STORY SHORT and (3) ITZAZIAM are both a couple of talented veterans but both are prone to the occasional miscue. Race 3 (2) BETTER WATCH OUT ripped out of the pocket in last to make it two-for-two since shipping in and joining the Jenn Bongiorno barn; he faces better here but may be fast enough to get it done. (4) STONEDUST looks for six straight local wins but never offers any value. (1) KEYSTONE PHOENIX has been very good in his last two for Schnittker and is clearly a player from this spot. Race 4 (5) RUN AND TELL PAP offered up nothing for Allard off the $20K claim so he unloaded him and now the veteran returns locally for new connections; shows improvement? (4) MUSCLE AVE faltered in the late stages last week and deserves another look. (7) MIGHTY SURF has talent and seems capable of landing a share here. Race 5 (6) COME GET THE CASH was outfinished after battling uncovered last week; she'll be a better price tonight and could be in line for a better trip in this evenly-matched field. (5) KEYSTONE NIKKI could not reach in her local debut for Team Bongiorno but she does move in a couple of slots. (4) ELEGANT DEO will likely be pushing the gate hard which can set her up for a live trip. Race 6 (2) MAGRITTE raced very well from off the pace to land a board spot last out and now he gets a much better post to work with. (3) OUTKAST BLUE CHIP has been burning money; tough to accept a short price. (1) ANDY'S IDEAL qualified nicely and draws best for his 2018 debut; ready for action? Race 7 (5) NEWBIE has been knocking on the door for some time now and the Banca charge could trip out from this midpack post. (1) ARDIE B SPEED gets much-needed post relief and should be showing plenty of early speed. (4) ROCK ABSORBER is up in class off the claim and has been very sharp recently. Race 8 (4) DALI DELIGHT, when she behaves herself, is a legit talent and she fits perfectly with these. (3) TOUCHMATIC came up empty last out then has missed some time; use caution. (1) LIFETIME TRUST raced very well in defeat in her last two but has also missed a couple of weeks. Race 9 (1) BJ'S GUY faltered in the late stages last week after cutting the mile but I'll give the veteran one more chance from a similar spot. (2) STATESMAN N put in a big effort just missing to the streaking (4) BEAT THE DRUM. The latter was reclaimed by Bongoirno last week and won another for that barn; now he goes back to Allard and didn't really fire his best shot for those connections. Race 10 (2) JK JAZZITUP was second best to the sharp Petticoat winner and the Garcia-Herrera trainee may be a bit too fast for these. (1) FEEL THE DARKSIDE tired on the front end last week but she's better off stalking. (5) FAITHFUL DESIRE flashed good speed last week and finished up okay. Race 11 (2) ABNER THE GREAT moved into this class last week and raced well enough to suggest that he can win this with a favorable trip. (4) SHOREVIEW steps up to NW8 off a win and he always gives a solid effort. (5) BEYOND DELIGHT closed with plenty last week and he should be a bit closer tonight. Race 12 (2) LATE MAIL N may have a bit to prove versus these but he's always right there for a barn that's had plenty of success with these imports. (3) HORSING AROUND has looked really good in his last few races and would be no surprise here. (1) TWIN B SPEED DIAL gets his first good post in ages and figures not to let the opportunity pass.
