Best Bet: MAYA SCAPE (9th)

Spot Play: WEEKLY SPECIAL (2nd)

Race 1

(2) AUTOMATIC SLIMS seems to hit the brakes in the final stretch run but clearly he is the speed of the speed; his best shot is to send hard and hope for the best. (8) TOUCH THE ROCK is very consistent hitting the board in his last five tries. (4) PENCE HANOVER could get involved with a favorable trip.

Race 2

(3) WEEKLY SPECIAL came from nowhere and blew past them all for the victory last time out; might be a little closer tonight but another performance like her last and the rest will have to settle for place money. (1) MY CANDY has scored two straight at Monticello and now she's back at the Hilltop where she did not fire three trips ago. (6) KRYPTOS Jersey invader did not disappoint the chalk players scoring an easy victory last out.

Race 3

(5) RING WARRIOR gets away from the 8-hole and should be ready to pounce on these; missed the victory by only a nose three starts back so he is very capable of making his return to the winner's circle. (1) SPORTING THE LOOK stays on the fence where this 4-year-old was the boss in his last two trips to the post. (3) RILEYS LUCK might have figured out how to win by putting in two nice efforts in a row.

Race 4

(4) LITTLE MISS SPORTY comes by way of Canada. In her latest, she took the pocket route on her way to victory at Western Fair; might find these to her liking. (7) MOLLIE Z TAM had some trouble past the half but she closed rapidly to land down the show spot last time around. (1) JUXTA ANTZ PANTZ moves back to the fence and has early zip to make some noise if at all.

Race 5

(4) JACK ATTACK was quite dull from the 8-hole last time out; now this gelding could grab position and with some luck, he could blow past these at his best. (1) COLONIAL ROAD did not fire in his last start but three starts ago closed fast to grab the score; he is capable. (8) BLADE SEELSTER was nailed for win honors last time out; is quite consistent but will have to make an impact from slot number 8.

Race 6

(5) OK HEARTBEAT Sharp mare put in a nice performance with a 5 1/2 length victory on February 8th; form is excellent so the hat trick is clearly not out of the question. (2) CAPELA was sent down the road for all the glory at Dover in a snappy 1:52 4/5. (3) TWIN B HONOUR had live cover and she mowed them down for all the marbles last week.

Race 7

(1) I AM THE COWBOY did not fire from the far outside post last week but the good news for this pacing gelding is he moves inside, has speed and two starts back he lost the score by only a neck; gets the call. (2) GRATIAN HANOVER Here's another that gets post relief has good early pace and Brennan makes his return on this 4-year-old gelding. (4) I LIKE DREAMIN was late on the scene from the 7-hole to grab fourth money last out.

Race 8

(4) COACH CAL took to the dropdown nicely finishing second to miss glory by a length; stays in same condition and has every right to be the boss over these. (1) ELECTROFIRE showed good speed against better last out to grab the placing. (3) LAWGIVER HANOVER Two starts back this 7-year-old was very game for the place spot and good to see Brennan keeps the faith.

Race 9

(4) MAYA SCAPE did not fire in her last try but hey this was her first attempt in a month; have to believe this gal will be on her toes with a favorable trip and greet the cameraman for pictures. (1) BROWN BRINNY is on a roll scoring her last two tires against lesser. (2) NORTHERN BEAUTY is knocking at the door based on her last two trips.

Race 10

(1) OK GORGEOUS has showed he can run with this caliber and now will try to best these from the fence; pocket-rocket trip can help his cause. (3) CHANTEPLEURE Very fast gelding will try to take these down the road but has a tendency to tire in deep stretch. (2) SIMPLY BUSINESS was sitting the 3-hole for most of the way, but could not get to the winner Class Six last week.

Race 11

(2) CLASS SIX Sharp Burke trainee led every step of the way for the victory at odds on and he should overpower this group. Expect him to be pounded at the windows again. (5) STEADY WARRIOR closed fast to nail down the show spot in his most recent trip. (1) IM BLUE TOO made a rail run to get up for all the glory last week.

Race 12

(2) MASTERSON did not get involved in his last start but he now moves to a cozy post and could make some serious noise with a covered up trip; quite possible. (3) PAPARAZZI HANOVER Qualifier at The Meadowlands was sharp enough to make his return to the races for team Brennan/Burke. (6) SPORTS BETTOR pocket rocket trip put this guy right back into the winner's circle last time out.
