Best Bet: COCO CHANEL (1st) Spot Play: D GS ELSA (5th) MEET STATS: 32 - 93 / $215.20 BEST BETS: 5 - 8 / $17.60 Race 1 (1) COCO CHANEL needed that last start and can be excused for not firing against better; should be ready to roll from the rail in this weak field. (3) NOT SO SWEET was second best in her last two to a runaway winner. (2) FALL DIVA gets needed post relief. Race 2 (3) JUPITER JOHNNY had nothing to offer from poor posts in his last two but he finished sharply three back; Buter charge will be closer to the action tonight. (2) SHNEONUCRZYDIAMND A is another in a bunch of recent imports for the Croghan barn; this one qualified well at Freehold and like these other Down-under imports they keep getting dismissed by the computerized morning line. (4) NORTHERN SPY didn't fire his best last week for Surick but was decent the start prior. Race 3 (5) SPYDERMAN is lightly raced in his career but has shown some ability down in Florida; maybe. (4) ROCK N ROLL RUDY returns for Alagna and was racing well here at the end of last year. (7) ALRIGHT GUY could have more to offer in his second start on Lasix and will offer a healthy price. Race 4 (2) VALRHONA won three back at The Meadowlands and wasn't bad last week; that form can carry over well here in his local return. (4) OFFDAHOOK BLUECHIP is another shipper who looks like he can fit well here. (5) IC A FREE SPIRIT made a nice winning move versus cheaper two back and paced evenly last week. Race 5 (2) D GS ELSA tried to leave last week, got hung and took back to wait for another night; port relief will put her right in the thick of the action. (1) QUEEN JOSEPHINE looks like the controlling speed from the rail. (3) SNEAKY GIRL is another speed type who will be close up throughout. Race 6 (4) BOLD AND BRASSY hasn't been terrible in his two 2018 starts and should offer a good price with some attractive yet questionable rivals inside of him. (1) ART SCENE was a nice 3-year-old and now makes his debut for Allard off the purchase; will he be a bit short? I don't want to take a small price to find out. (2) OZONE BLUE CHIP  had nothing to offer late last week but his prior start was good. Race 7 (3) MIDWAY ISLAND put in a good eight-hole effort in a crazy race last out and remember he was off a month leading up to that race; Burke trainee deserves top billing in this competitive event. (4) MYIDEALSON N always gets ignored in the wagering but has proven he can go with this type. (1) BETTOR'S WESTERN draws best and would be no surprise if he scored back-to-back wins. Race 8 (4) BELLA RAGAZA debuts for 'Team Bongiorno' off the purchase and the mare likes to win with 12 tallies in 35 starts last year; worth a try if the price is right in this tough event. (7) CLASSY CHAPEL N took money as expected last week and raced well in his U.S. debut for Croghan; he's listed at a big morning line again and can certainly have more to offer. (2) FLYME TO THE MOON is steady stock from Burke who should appreciate the good inside post. Race 9 (6) PRETTY BOY SWAG hasn't put in a bad effort since arriving at Yonkers and he was very game in defeat last week; poor post should help the price. (1) THE WALL raced evenly in his debut for Surick and now draws best. (2) TREASURE MACH emerged from the fog with good late pace last week and now gets serious post relief. Race 10 (3) SAPPHIRE BREEZE has put in back-to-back game efforts on the rim and the Allard trainee could be freshest late in a race what may have some early action. (8) JAZZY IMAGE beat more seasoned foes last out and it's hard to imagine that Bartlett will be content getting away last. (2) SHADY STELLA didn't fire at all last out but was a winner from a similar post the start prior. [DRF HARNESS NEWSLETTER: Sign Up for the FREE DRF Harness Newsletter.
