Best Bet: ESCAPE AGAIN (1st) Spot Play: QUEEN JOSEPHINE (8th) MEET STATS: 15 - 57 / $102.90 BEST BETS: 3 - 5 / $10.30 Race 1 (5) ESCAPE AGAIN has jogged in two straight versus similar and is clearly the best of these; likely wins again at a very short price. (1) RICKY'S QUICKIE has speed with the best draw and will be close up throughout. (3) STONEBRIDGE CADEAU is a fresh face from Canada who merits a look. Race 2 (4) PIECE OF THE ROCK should head to the front from this spot and may be good enough to take these the distance. (1) ADONIS BAY is the most likely choice should the top one falter. (2) WILD AGAIN gets some needed post relief. Race 3 (4) CADILLAC PHIL really had no excuse to lose last week but it was on a night that speed wasn't holding; Banca charge could rebound at a better price. (3) JK PATRIOT was solid winning from the outside post last out and he's got a big shot to make it three straight. (5) CROMBIE A showed a bit of life at this level two back for Allard. Race 4 (1) REAL FLIGHT flattened from an uncovered trip last week but it was an improved effort for the veteran; Brennan should be aggressive from this spot. (5) COLONIAL ROAD was much, much improved last out and should be considered a threat here if he can repeat that effort. (2) BARRY'S SHELBY has some speed and an inside draw. Race 5 (4) CLASSY CHAPEL N is a fresh Down-under import for Croghan and did show some life in that qualifier at Freehold. Do we know if she's ready to go? We'll watch the board for some clues. (1) CAVIART CHERIE won last week and is quite logical again from this spot. (3) GIMME SOME LOVIN' didn't really fire in her first start for Team Bongiorno; maybe she shows more tonight. Race 6 (4) MACH ONE wasn't great but wasn't bad last week after showing good gate speed; gelding deserves another try. (1) MARCED MAGIC has been very good for live connections and he draws best. (2) NORTHERN SPY was no match for a sharp winner last week but was clearly second best. Race 7 (2) ALRIGHT GUY was a winning machine on the Iowa fair circuit and we know that form has translated well for these shippers; Buter trainee draws well in a very suspect field. (1) NIALL HANOVER may be the only true NW4 type in here but his two 2018 starts have been awful; use caution. (4) CHEYENNE REIJANE should be put in play early which obviously gives him a good chance. Race 8 (3) QUEEN JOSEPHINE didn't race badly last week in a needed start after missing almost a month; Bucci trainee can be much tighter tonight. (1) MARCED FOR TERROR changes barns and will be a player if she maintains her current form. (6) TALBOT CHANEL raced pretty well in her local debut for Burke; post hurts but she can land a share. Race 9 (4) NEWS WATCH was aggressively handled last week and was used up then shuffled; maybe he can bounce back from off the pace at an improved price. (5) HARRY TERROR has raced very well in his two local starts for Andrew Harris. (2) GERARD  N MO has done nothing wrong since arriving locally but he does step up to face a bit tougher. Race 10 (1) MAKASI swept a tired field from the eight hole upon arrival for Lachance and there's no reason to think he can't repeat here if given a live drive. (7) STEUBEN JOBEE was shuffled last week and had no chance; he should be a good price tonight from this spot. (6) THE WALL moves into the Surick barn and may flash early speed. Race 11 (1) CHUMLEE A clearly has talent for Stalbaum but didn't fire in his local debut; another chance. (2) PHIL YOUR BOOTS is reliable stock at this level and keeps Bartlett. (4) CHACHING HANOVER stormed home to score last week and is a closing threat again. Race 12 (1) JUXTA COWGIRL was a sharp pocket-pulling winner last week and will be favored to repeat from the rail. (2) BERAZZLED was no match for the top choice and may figure second best again. (4) ANGELINMYWAY is always a closing threat with this type.
