Yonkers: Monday 12/17 Analysis

MEET STATS: 341 - 1053 / $1792.50

Best Bet: ORR HANOVER (10th)

Spot Play: KEYSTONE RIDEAU (6th)

Race 1

(1) TIMESWEETENEDHONEY had some pace after the fact last week; filly has been getting better and with the rail slot tonight, she deserves some consideration. (8) UILLEANN is best, but she's in the eight hole again and she's still a maiden. (5) JUSTATEQUILATALKIN could be forwardly placed from this spot.

Race 2

(2) CREDIT LIMIT broke while on the move from the eight hole versus better last out; recent Chris Marino claim drops back down in class and should be ready to roll from this spot. (4) CANACO QUIZ showed some forward progress on the barn change. (6) UP FRONT STRIKING looks for three in a row.

Race 3

(1) SIR HOWIES Z TAM was used hard early and came up flat late last out; it should be smoother sailing tonight from the rail. (4) BIG TIME ROCKS gets some needed post relief. (3) NORTHERN PRIZE was much improved last week.

Race 4

(4) SHES LOVIN IT showed solid early and late speed upon arrival from Saratoga; Heidi Rohr trainee will build off that effort. (2) ARTIES LAST PARTY shocked everyone with that big upset score in her local return. (3) PERSUASIVE HANOVER is a steady performer at this level.

Race 5

(1) SIN TO WIN has speed, the rail and Brennan driving; maybe. (2) S F CIRO gets post relief and is a steady check-earner. (3) HASTE always merits a look from inside post positions.

Race 6

(1) KEYSTONE RIDEAU may have gained some confidence with that pocket-rocket score last out; Mark Ford trainee has plenty of back class. (7) ARTHUR has had pace in all three starts since arriving; only problem here is the post. (4) NOBLES GRAND SLAM has shown improvement since the barn change to Posner.

Race 7

(3) MAR DREAM jogged in his debut for Fraley; likely repeater here at odds-on. (2) MIDAS BLUE CHIP draws well again, can be considered. (1) MASTERS CHAMPION was second best upon arrival despite breaking midstretch.

Race 8

(4) TRIPLE MAJOR closed in very willingly last week for second; it wouldn't shock me if likely speedster (2) DVCFLYINGFRENCHMAN came back to the field late and was nailed. (1) KEYSTONE RAPTOR is back at the level of his solid second place finish two back.

Race 9

(5) MR SALMING is back with Brennan, where they recently teamed up to take two in a row; any sort of live trip will take this. (4) MCARDLE PARK wasn't awful last week, and that was after some missed time. (1) GIDDY UP DELIGHT has been decent enough to hit the board in his last three.

Race 10

(1) ORR HANOVER drops back into claimers after touring the track from post eight versus better; Garcia-Herrera trainee looks much the best from this spot. (8) FOX VALLEY TYRESE is blazing fast off the gate; eight hole won't present a problem if Stalbaum guns. (2) DINNER GUEST looks for two in a row and he draws well again.

Race 11

(2) ROADWAY unleashed a wicked wide brush and drew away handily in his debut for Casie Coleman; impossible not to use here if you saw that effort. (4) SAMS ESCAPE has tailed off in his last couple. Prior efforts were solid and he can be considered here at a price. (1) ELECTROFIRE has been super since the Jody Riedel claim.

Race 12

(2) RELENTLESS G was nailed on the money in a 1:51 4/5 mile; a repeat of that effort will take this. (5) MR ERV goes back to Brennan, and this three-year-old has been live since the Rubin claim. (1) TOP OF THE MARK was hung to dry last out; ignore that line and consider him from the rail slot.
