Yonkers: Monday 11/5 Analysis

MEET STATS: 306 - 932 / $1605.90

Best Bet: MR ERV (9th)     Spot Play: ART TWO D TWO (12th)

Race 1

(1) OPTICROMBIE jogged upon arrival from Iowa; she appears more formful than main foe (3) LIVE ENTERTAINMENT, who ships in for the live Takter barn and the freshman has plenty of stakes experience. (4) BULLVILLE ANA gets some post relief and has shown speed in the past.

Race 2

(1) TIA MARIA KOSMOS seems to have found her stride and she looks tons the best of these. (3) S F CIRO is back with Laterza, where he had moderate success. (4) HASTE should go well from this midpack post.

Race 3

(3) HANDSOFFMYCUPCAKE looks like a can’t-miss on paper. Filly has banked 237K in eight starts, yet fits this class. (4) KATHERINE B responded nicely first-time Banca. (7) HAYWORTH BLUE CHIP has been a good earner for Schnittker.

Race 4

(5) LADYS BAG MAN is not the biggest stretch in the world here. Gelding drops in class, has Sears driving and there are no standouts in this field. (1) FOUR CORNERS gets post relief and should be more involved. (3) MAR DREAM was a winner with these last out.

Race 5

(2) FRISKIE FLICKER gets a free ride at this level after winning by eight and paying $2.10. (1) HEARTS AND FLOWERS is back locally after her curious trip to Colonial Downs. She needs to protect rail position. (8) ALWAYS LOVE ME has ability and seemingly the speed to overcome the eight hole.

Race 6

(2) IMALLOTTOCATCH is a crafty veteran who has held his own against Monticello's best. Worth a look here. (3) FOR GOODNESS LINDY has been decent since joining the Gower barn. (5) SIR CIRO has been minding his manners recently, has speed.

Race 7

(5) WE THE PEOPLE had post eight, got used to the lead and forgot to stop; if you saw that effort you know he's impossible not to play, despite the rise in class. (6) THESEYESRCRYING looks to have found a more suitable level here for Erv Miller. (2) BIG TIME ROCKS debuts for Marino, who has been live recently with his stock.

Race 8

(4) REGAL DELIGHT ships from Canada for trainer Tony O'Sullivan, a very well-respected horseman. This one could make an immediate impact. (3) ROCK ON MOE showed solid early speed last out. (5) SIR HOWIES Z TAM was the only leaver last out and sat a perfect trip; it will be harder tonight.

Race 9

(5) MR ERV has been solid in his two starts for Rubin, and he faces easier here. Likely favorite. (6) COMMUNICATOR is another Canadian shipper, and he's got plenty of speed. (2) WISHER is another speedy one, and he's got a good post.

Race 10

(3) ROADWAY hasn't been awful recently and he lands a nice post in this competitive race. Holland is good with longshots. (1) LIGHTUPTHESKY is up in class off the claim, but he draws best. (4) VERY UPSET RICHIE looks for two in a row at this level for Casie Coleman.

Race 11

(1) ORR HANOVER was super last out; now debuts for Garcia-Herrera; enough said. (2) TRADE EDITOR drops a notch, draws better. (5) ELECTROFIRE beat better in two of his last three.

Race 12

(5) ART TWO D TWO has been competitive with better than these in the past, and the favorites here look suspect. (6) ROYAL MEETING was a solid second upon arrival. (1) TIDEWATER TOMAHAWK collapsed last week, but two back at this level he was a decent second.
