Best Bet: SGT PAPPA DADDY (6th) Spot Play: VALUABLE ART (11th) MEET STATS: 421 - 1212 / $2,296.00 BEST BETS: 60 - 103 / $198.70   Race 1 (6) HURRIKANE KINGKONG showed major improvement last week, finishing fast to hit the ticket. Perhaps he can build off that effort against rivals that don't appear too eager to win. (4) KEYSTONE PHOENIX finished better last out to be second best and he has some early speed. (2) WILLIE JOE HILL is probably the one to beat from this spot but he's just 1 for 21 lifetime. Race 2 (5) PRETTY BOY SWAG hit town from the Iowa fair circuit and fooled nobody as he took the money and jogged; repeats. (4) ROCK N ROLL RUDY has clear 'seconditis' looking at his career record and he can be second best again. (3) NATIVES BEST BET ships in and gets an improved post; consider. Race 3 (1) AWASH gets major post relief, faces a softer group and has little excuse to fail. (5) FAITHFUL DESIRE stopped badly when last seen locally as Bongiorno thought he was driving a Corvette; filly should be put in play early and could last to hit the ticket. (3) DELIGHTFUL SPACE rallied belatedly last week and gets post relief. Race 4 (2) JK JAZZITUP held okay late after being overtaken by the strong winner last week; DiDomenico trainee should be cutting the mile again and a similar effort should be enough to conquer these. (5) ZANE HANOVER returns locally after a decent stint at Philly. (7) RICKY'S QUICKIE is another one of these Iowa fair shippers and for whatever reason they all race well here; must include. Race 5 (3) CHEAP THRILLS looked very good winning her last local start from the eight hole and the Bamond trainee faces tougher but may be up to the task. (1) CLOUD DIVA ships down from Canada for Alagna where she's been racing well and is certainly a major player from this spot. (7) DON'T STOP BELIEVIN is perfect in two local starts and looks for six straight overall. Race 6 (4) SGT PAPPA DADDY has jogged in two local efforts after shipping from Minnesota and the Banca trainee will be odds-on to take another. (3) HORSING AROUND returns from Saratoga where he was making live moves though with limited success in series action; effort five back when Sears drove was good. (2) AMERICANFIREWATER doesn't show much in the way of form but this looks like a better spot and he can hit the ticket. Race 7 (5) BOLD AND BRASSY ships in for Allard and he's been competitive in a comparable class at Pocono; worth a try in a wide-open race. (6) MARCED MAGIC moves up to the NW4 ranks off two sharp scores upon shipping from the midwest for his sharp connections. (1) OBSCENE BLUE CHIP has just been racing evenly of late but the rail draw makes him a player. Race 8 (1) HALLIE'S COMET has been knocking on the door for Lachance and he should be able to trip out from this spot. (3) LINDYTHEFOURTEENTH was a decent second from a similar spot three back. (6) ROYAL RED ships from Virginia and it's tough to gauge the quality of the stock he was facing there but the gelding sure likes to win, with eight tallies in 14 career starts. Race 9 (3) YS TALLIA has raced well here and has amassed over $100K in her 3-year-old season for Allard; top billing in an intriguing event. Both (6) BLAMEITONTHENIGHT and (1) DUDESALADY ship from Mohawk where they were facing stakes competition; use both if spreading on exotic tickets. Race 10 (2) POINTOMYGRANSON threw in a clunker in the NYSS Final but qualified right back nicely with Lasix added; from this spot he deserves top billing despite Zeron opting off. (6) CAVIART REAGAN has been razor-sharp and can clearly take another. (1) WESTERN HILL was last seen in the Breeders Crown elimination; this is easier. Race 11 (4) VALUABLE ART was a game third in her last local appearance and followed that up with a sharp try at Philly; mare is in top shape and appears ready to score. (1) ELEKTRA EXPRESS needed last week's race upon shipping from Charlottetown; Allard trainee should be even better tonight. (5) SWEETEST EMOTION took care of business last week for Croghan. Race 12 (4) MYIDEALSON N was missing in action last out from the eight hole versus more seasoned foes; prior efforts versus this type have been good. (2) NORMANDY BEACH has been knocking heads with stakes foes recently but he has missed some time. (8) THE WALL rides a two-race local winning streak and will be a good price from this tough spot.
