Yonkers: Monday 10/1 Analysis

MEET STATS: 268 - 823 / $1390.80

Best Bet: REAL FLIGHT (12th)    Spot Play: SAINT WILLIAM A (10th)

Race 1

(3) THE REAL TONE won easily last out versus these; why not again? (1) FRISKIE FLICKER is a new addition to the DiDomenico barn and the filly has plenty of speed. (6) BULLVILLE ANA can also be fast off the gate.

Race 2

(3) HARDROCKENJESSICA broke losing all chance last out; from this spot and versus this competition she can prove the best. (2) HASTE was aggressively handled as the favorite and gave way in last; a more patient steer is probably in order. (1) ONLY ON BROADWAY gets post relief.

Race 3

(2) LIMA NIGHTSTAR acclimated nicely in her debut for Lance Hudson and she can build off that effort. (5) KATHERINE B and AFRICAN QUEEN both have plenty of gate speed if they elect to use it.

Race 4

(7) IMA SPUR woke up in a big way last out with a rock-solid effort; classy veteran can show even more tonight. (1) SIR SIRO was a very respectable third last week and the rail draw here should gave him forwardly placed. (5) AEQUITAS ships from Philly and may awaken with the change in scenery.

Race 5

(3) GLASS PRINCE debuts for Garcia-Herrera and merits instant respect, despite Brennan opting off. (6) PAMS LEGACY raced well enough to win last out, but didn't get there; big threat. (5) DELCO ROCKNROLL drops in for a tag for Casie Coleman.

Race 6

(5) SIN TO WIN showed speed from the eight hole and didn't collapse that badly in his debut for the Allard barn; big threat here to go wire-to-wire. (1) S F CIRO also has speed and the best draw for his new connections. (7) LONG STORY SHORT has always performed well in the Harmon barn, but he may have too far to come tonight.

Race 7

(1) BOMBAY AWAY never seriously threatened last out when uncovered; with owner Caruso enlisting a catch-driver again this gelding has a big shot. (5) CHINA KING was a blowout winner in the slop for the surging Banca barn. (7) ROCK ON MOE acclimated himself nicely upon arrival from Canada.

Race 8

(1) LIVE WIRE draws best, has respectable local form and she deserves top billing from this spot. (2) SWASH HANOVER closed well though she was outfinished in last; from this spot, she will be much closer to the action. (3) MAMASAIDSO has disappointed of late.

Race 9

(4) WISERS DELUXE invades from Grand River Raceway in Ontario, where he was caught up in some fast miles; Nik Drennan trainee looks like a good fit here. (6) WYNSUM MAGIC drops out of claimers, with some decent hidden form. (5) SMELLTHECOLORNINE also gets needed class relief.

Race 10

(5) SAINT WILLIAM A was nailed on the wire after a game two-move effort versus better last week; Team Stalbaum trainee has some tough ones inside of him but that should make the price more attractive. (1) FREDDY DAY HANOVER has shown wicked speed when Brennan drives. (2) JERRYS BROWN GOLD gets some needed post relief.

Race 11

(5) ALFREDSSON drops out of claimers and gets some much-needed post relief; worth a try. (1) THE POKESTER didn't fire in his debut for Blumenfeld, but that was from the outside. Tonight he lands the rail and Brennan returns. (6) PACIFIC OKEY DOKEY closed a ton last week, why not again?

Race 12

(5) REAL FLIGHT drops in class, gets away from the eight hole and returns to Brennan; he looks pretty logical here as the likely chalk. (2) MEANT TO BE ME also drops, but he was pretty flat from the pocket last week. (3) SAND BENELLI should save ground here and he can land a share.
