MEET STATS: 197 - 524 / $1,032.70 (-$15.30) BEST BETS: 23 - 46 / $72.70 (-$19.30) SPOT PLAYS: 12 - 46 / $104.70 (+$12.70) BEST BET - ROCKIN THE BOYS A (9th) SPOT PLAY - NY WHITESOX (4th) Race 1 - 20000CLM Pace (5) ROCK ON PRECIOUS showed a new dimension of speed last Friday and went all the way on the front-end.  Catches a suspect bunch here, and I'll look for him to double up.  (3) DEERFIELD BEACH got parked last Thursday, so I'm just drawing a line through that race.  Won in upset fashion two back, has post relief tonight, and is in line for a good trip.  (2) POP ICON closed well a week ago in his return off the bench.  That mile should have sharpened him up, and he also draws better for this opportunity. Race 2 - NW15000L5/25000CLM/Winners of NW10000L5 in Last Start Trot (6) IN MY DREAMS put in a quality effort last week, finishing second to the well-meant Mostinterestingman.  Did lose Siegelman tonight, but I'll give him another chance and hope Troy Beyer gets along with him.  (2) NATHANIEL is a newcomer from Maine.  Was racing at their top level and had a recent four-race win streak.  Adds Bartlett, which can't hurt his prospects.  (5) SIR JOHN F kept Siegelman's services tonight, but is taking a step up the class ladder off a rallying second-place finish. Race 3 - 25000CLM Pace (4) NY WHITESOX has been post compromised in recent starts, but got a kinder draw tonight with post four.  Closed strongly two back when well out of it, so I'll hope he has that brush again and is more forwardly-placed. (1) SWIFT AS A SHADOW gets back to the inside post tonight, and that should make him a big threat.  Rallied from off-the-pace last week, but I'm expecting Holland will have him closer to the action this time.  (3) TWIN B IMPRESSIVE had been racing well and then broke through for a nice win a week ago.  Should have every chance to perform well again tonight from a good post. Race 4 - F&M NW15150L5/25000CLM/Winners of NW10000L5 in Last Start Pace (5) GLENFERRIE BLADE A comes into this race having closed well in her last two efforts.  Gets a good mid-pack draw for that racing style, and the Hudson/Stratton combo is winning a lot of races right now.   (4) SALLY FLETCHER A faded from first-over last time out at Pocono, but both of her recent miles here were solid, and she gets a driver change to Bartlett tonight.  (7) BYE BYE MICHELLE shifts outside on the gate this week, but that was a strong performance last Friday, and she gets the driving services of the red-hot Tyler Buter. Race 5 - 20000-25000CLM HCP Pace (1) AMERICAN VENTURE was claimed by DiDomenico on 9-3, and has the pole to work with tonight.  Not in the greatest form, but I like the trainer change, and the horse has plenty of back-class, owning a 1:50 4/5 record at Yonkers.  (8) HALF A BILLION is the lone $25,000 claimer in here, so he has the outside.  He did take back the last time he was in this spot, but I can't see Bartlett doing that.  Sharp win a week ago.  (5) ONE TO DRAW TO wound up first-over into a dawdling clip last Friday and hung around for third.  That was a better effort than his others for Allard. Race 6 - F&M Open Handicap Pace (1) KAITLYN N double-jumps in class tonight, but she got a vote of confidence from Bartlett as he stuck here over the classy Alexa's Power, and this spot isn't far-fetched given Kaitlyn N was second twice to the great Shartin N in the Blue Chip Matchmaker earlier this year.  (7) BETTERB CHEVRON N is likely to be coming from last, but in a seven-horse field, I don't think that's going to be all that far back.  Live cover makes her a big threat.  (6) ALEXA'S POWER has been racing well lately, but she couldn't gain at all off a pocket trip in her last appearance in the open, and Bartlett hops off. Race 7 - 25000-30000CLM HCP Pace (7) SHOREVIEW doesn't really like to win races as evidenced by his 9-for-96 lifetime record and 0-fer this year, but he makes his debut for Bongiorno off the claim, and he did rally well in his last start for Andrew Harris on 8-30.  (4) ONLYTHETUFFSURVIVE showed improvement last week with a runner-up finish from first-over.  Drew the best of the $30,000 claimers in here.  (8) BRO HANOVER is another one with a trainer change tonight as he was taken by DiDomenico.  Stuck outside and I'll look for him to rally late to get a piece of it. Race 8 - F&M NW20000L5/30000CLM Pace (9) GOLD ORCHID N disappointed last Friday when she couldn't finish it off in the lane.  Does get further class relief tonight, and may offer a better price than usual starting from the trailing post.  (1) ANNABETH gets both a drop and a much better post to work with tonight.  Was racing well in the open against the likes of Feelin Red Hot back in July, and any return to that form would make her pretty tough here.  (7) SCANDALICIOUS retreats back to this level after one start against better.  Seemed to like the added distance two back when she won, and she gets that again tonight. Race 9 - F&M NW1500L5/25000CLM/Winners of NW10000L5 in Last Start Pace (1) ROCKIN THE BOYS A hasn't been able to win at Yonkers this year, but this looks like her best chance thus far as she catches a beatable group from the rail with Bartlett driving.  (5) TELL ME A JOKE saw Brennan opt elsewhere, but she gets away from facing the likes of Kaitlyn N and had been racing well prior to last week.  (4) ACEFOURTYFOUR ALEX draws well tonight after having the eight and the six in her last two.  Was able to gain ground in the last quarter a week ago. Race 10 - F&M NW30000L5 / 3&4YO F&M NW10 Pace (4) LADY DELA RENTA A makes her Yonkers debut tonight after back-to-back impressive wins at Pocono.  Was third in a Group 2 earlier this year Down Under and won a Group 2 last year, so she has some class to her.  (2) LYONS RIVER PRIDE battled hard with my top choice in that sub-1:50 mile at Pocono but had to settle for second.  She was third at this level in Westchester last month.  (1) LOVIN MISS DAISY N just held on to beat NW20000L5's a week ago.  Steps back up tonight, but she has raced well in this class too recently. Race 11 - NW20000L5/30000CLM Trot (2) NEWCASTLE wound up having the misfortune of trying to chase down Mostinterestingman two straight weeks and was unable to do so.  Has an inside post tonight, gets away from Mostinterestingman, and I'll look for a winning effort.  (4) ICANFLYLIKEANANGEL was certainly flying home late last Friday, just missing at 78-1 in his debut for DiDomenico.  Switches to Brennan tonight and gets out of the eight-hole.  (5) ROSE RUN SYDNEY ships back in to Yonkers off a win at Pocono.  Her win locally on 8-12 at the bottom level was nice, and then she raced in at an added distance on 8-20, so I can forgive her late fade in that effort. Race 12 - NW10000L5/Winners of NW5000L5 in Last Start Pace (2) GOKUDO HANOVER stayed off-the-pace in his comeback on September 7 and finished evenly.  Slides inside to post two tonight, and I think we'll see Brennan be much more aggressive with him.  (3) BETTOR'S PROMISE performed well in his return to the Ruiz barn last time out with a solid third from first-over, and Beyer stuck with him here over another one.  (5) HUDSONANDBERNARD broke stride in that same race my top pick is coming out of and lost all chance.  All his other tries at this level have been good.
