Email

MEET STATS: 9 - 25 / $56.20    BEST BETS: 2 - 2 / $7.30

Best Bet: ECONOMY TERROR (13th)

Spot Play: DUTCH RICHMAN (1st)

Race 1

(5) DUTCH RICHMAN started for the first time since May last week and raced evenly. Now he picks up a catch-driver and should be ready to roll. (6) PASS THE DECK hardly looks like a monster as the morning line chalk, but should be good for at least an exotics spot. (1) PENN TRUBO TED was used in the pace last time. He drops down this week and draws best.

Race 2

(7) PITTSTOP RUTHIE drops a level this week. She will need some pace help or live cover, but seems capable of winning at a decent price. (4) KLM EXPRESS looks like the one to beat if he can avoid the breaking issues that plagued him in July. (1) TASTY MAX         will enjoy the move to post one. (6) SOAPY SAP has done good work with Brennan in the bike.

Race 3

(2) CAMS ORACLE was up in class last week and tired badly late. I’ll give him another shot at what should be a fair price. (7) BIG BAD ELI looks fastest but moves into a low percentage barn. (5) STRUNG OUT is in form.

Race 4

(2) CIAO BELA & (1) FORTUNES DREAM are both dropping in class and figure to bring good efforts. (5) FLASHY LADY & (6) JUSTA REBEL figure to need a quick pace to win but should be used on your exotic tickets.

Race 5

(3) IM FABULOUS returns to Yonkers at a level where she should be comfortable. She can score with any live trip. (1) GAELIC AND GARLIC has speed and the rail. He only needs to stay flat to make his presence felt. (5) SARKOZY bumps back up but is sharp enough to compete. (7) CAN I SAY got a driver and trainer change last week and responded in a big way; using.

Race 6

(8) ROYAL CEE CEE N has won 9 of her last 16 races at Yonkers. She loves this track and will find a way despite the outside post. (7) ROCK N SOUL doesn’t appear to face a lot of inside speed and could control the action; must use. (6) SIR JILLIAN Z TAM is sharp. She will have a say if Lachance is aggressive.

Race 7

(3) CAMPANILE tends to race very well with Brennan in the bike. She draws inside this week and deserves the nod. (8) MARTY PARTY hasn’t lived up to expectations as an older mare, but this looks like one of the easier fields she has faced. (4) VIRGIN MARY won against slightly lesser recently; clear player.

Race 8

(7) LITTLE BROWN FOX is clearly the most talented horse in this race. That said, (6) TALL COTTON has a tactical edge drawing just to his inside. (5) CALCHIPS BRUTE should be along late for a nice share.

Race 9

(5) BEST BOSS drops down and moves to a better post; edge. (6) UNRED HANOVER has plenty of early speed and Sears is always a plus. (2) MY IDEAL HANOVER should get away close and sneak into the exotics.

Race 10

(3) FOR YOU ALMOSTFREE finished fast last time and might be able the class rise. (2) STORMONT LANCELOT is as good as any of these when he minds his manners; crapshoot. (6) LORENZO DREAM finds a field without a ton of early zip and deserves respect as a wire to wire threat.

Race 11

(6) MR SALMING lured Sears off (5) DREAMLUCK, who has won two straight. I don’t often make plays on driver choice alone, but I’m intrigued. (2) SAND SAVAGE is fast enough to pull off the upset; don’t ignore.

Race 12

(1) AS YALL LIKE IT was super last time and might be able to handle these tougher foes. (4) BRANDOS MUSCLE MAN looks like the one to beat. (8) JERSEY BOY broke before the start last time and might be an interesting value play.

Race 13

(2) ECONOMY TERROR is supposed to destroy this group. (8) DE VINS GIRL has raced well since joining the Burke barn. (4) MYSTICAL DIVA has some class to her.
