Yonkers: Friday 6/24 Analysis

MEET STATS: 140 - 618 / $911.20  BEST BETS: 14 - 62 / $63.20

Best Bet: TESSA SEELSTER (6th)

Spot Play: ACTING OUT (2nd)

Race 1

(2) BRIGADOON Sophomore is sharp in 2016 and now he makes his debut at Yonkers; game effort when he broke on the first turn and recovered to land the placing at Buffalo last out; ready for action. (4) HASH TAG CHROME came outside approaching the 1/2 mile pole and made June 15 upstate a winning one. (6) COMBAT rallied nicely to miss glory by only a head last out.

Race 2

(3) ACTING OUT moves back to the 3-hole where this colt put in a fine effort in the Excelsior series two starts back; can take this at his best. (4) HERES THE SCOOP was sent down the road in his last try and got the job done. (2) UNCLE HAL stayed in the pocket most of the way but could not get to the winner last out and settled for place honors.

Race 3

(5) MR FANTASY is knocking at the door based on his last two tries and in his last start gelding was late on the scene to lose glory by only half a length; all systems go. (1) SAMMY SAID took a bad break at the start and lost all chance in his latest but was quite good for the win at Pocono two trips ago. (8) ROSE RUN QUEST does not have the best post but he could grab a share of the purse.

Race 4

(1) VELOCITY VESPA moves up the ladder off three sharp victories in a row and now she is back at Yonkers, retains the rail and Mr. Sears has the assignment; not out of the question for the four-peat. (3) GROUNDED is another on a three-race win streak and stays in same company. (5) FOR THE LADIES N moves down in class and that could help her cause.

Race 5

(1) HEAVENS LEGACY has good tactical speed and gets the pole position so with a well rated drive this mare can take these to task. (6) NEFERTITI BLUECHIP was a sharp second at Philly two starts ago and this mare seems to have a fondness for the hilltop. (2) HEY KOBE has put in two game starts in a row and in her latest she moved outside when sitting a 3-hole trip.

Race 6

(6) TESSA SEELSTER was uncovered most of the way and had nothing left in the Roses Are Red final at Mohawk last time out. Mare makes her return to the half-mile oval where she has done her very best and she reunites with Brennan. (8) KRISPY APPLE got the job done down the road in her latest against some of these. (4) AL RAZA N is clearly better then in her last try and she was a fast closing third two trips ago.

Race 7

(6) MISSILE J has 6 of 10 victories this year and the sophomore just held on at odds on for win honors last week so he moves outside for this but he has every right to keep on his winning ways. (1) FINE DIAMOND was on the engine early, sat a pocket trip and mowed them down for all the glory in his recent try. (5) MANNY came close to taking down Missile J at Buffalo last out losing by a neck.

Race 8

(2) JK HEAVEN SENT showed life in his last start and that might be an indication this sophomore will move forward against these given a favorable trip. (3) CRAFTSHIP took charge turning for home but could not hold off Fine Diamond at Buffalo in his most recent outing. (1) ARTMAGIC put in a solid effort at Monticello last time out and saved the place spot.

Race 9

(7) REQUEST FOR PAROLE led most of the way but did not have enough gas in the tank and held on for second money at the Meadowlands last time around. Trainer Burke calls on Brennan to get this pacing mare back to greet the cameraman for pictures. (1) ROCKAROUND SUE closed fast at the 3/4 pole and held on for the victory at Philly last out. (4) SHEEZA SHARK N was facing Open foes at the Big M so now the drops in class should help her chances against these.

Race 10

(2) GALLANT SEELSTER did not fire in his last start but this gelding clearly is better than his last flop. If he grabs the front it could be game over for the rest. (1) PANPERO FIRPO flashed late pace to take down the placing last time around. (7) FASHION DELIGHT has scored in his last two trips to the post but will now have to do his best running from door number seven.

Race 11

(3) MONEY MAVEN lost all chance when this gelding broke at the start last time out however he fits well against this group so with a fine-timed drive from Sears this 7-year-old can take home top prize. (4) ZOOMING 8-year-old pro is in a much better spot to contend if given a favorable trip. (6) THERAPUTIC is dropping a notch in class and Brennan is keeping the faith.

Race 12

(6) LUCK BE A LINDY was an easy winner going away last time out and as of late this mare is in fine form so she figures to have another fine performance despite the escalation in class. (1) REGIL ELEKTRA retains the pole position off a down the road score last time out. (7) CRACKER COFFEE has wheeled off three straight victories and the last time she was at Yonkers this gal was a sharp second on May 19th.
