Yonkers: Friday 6/1 Analysis

MEET STATS: 161 - 604 / $1,113.40

Best Bet: CAM VAN BUSSEL (1st)      Spot Play: SPEED BOMB (9th)

Race 1

(1) CAM VAN BUSSEL powered home to an easy score in his recent trip. 8-year-old is a strong factor to take two in a row. (1) TOO MUCH PEPPER is very quick out of the box. Gelding is a major contender. (2) TILT YA KILT N gets serious post relief.

Race 2

(2) GENESIS ROYAL OAK has faced better last time out but things did not go his way right from the start. Trotter now finds a better spot to take these to task. (6) ARMBRO CASINO is very capable if he can return to his May 1 trip. (3) BIG SKY DOMINO flashed early trot. Don't overlook.

Race 3

(4) SWEET JOE did show good speed against tougher company. The 7-year-old will move down the scale so he could be ready to pounce and score. (1) DEFEND THE ROCK returns to the fence, where he did get the job done on May 26 at Pocono. (7) BLUERIDGE TORNADO went down the road for all the glory recently at Harrington.

Race 4

(1) SAYMYNAMESAYMYNAME drops in class and retains the rail slot. Stalbaum sticks with her and should have this one visiting the winners circle. (5) SHAKY HANOVER put in a mild rally in her most recent try. (4) PANAGLER Pocono invader fits with these.

Race 5

(1) REIGNING DOUGH moves up the ladder. However his last two is an indication he can rise to the occasion. (4) H AND MS HIT gets class relief and has speed to boot. (5) PEMBROKE PRAYER put in an even finish in his most recent start as the chalk.

Race 6

(1) FOUR STARZ ROE’s last start was not bad against some of these. 5-year-old miss has positional speed and has the potential to take home the cake. (4) BREAKHEART PASS charged home for an impressive victory against a lesser group. (6) FOX VALLEY SAGE has hit the board 9 of 14 trips this year.

Race 7

(6) NEIGHSAY HANOVER did not race badly in his most recent try. So with that said, the 6-year-old trotter can rebound with a fine-timed drive from Lachance. (7) BLACKTUXWHITESOCKS chased outside to just get up for win honors. (4) PERFECT RENDITION is better than his last flop at Pocono.

Race 8

(2) UP FRONT KELLIE JO Despite being parked-out, the 6-year-old miss did hang on for the show spot. Look for MacDonald to get good early position and then go for it. (3) HELLO GREAT MATE closed strongly for the place at big odds last week. (1) NEW ALBUM gets serious post relief.

Race 9

(4) SPEED BOMB flashed good speed against some of these last week. If he can get the good trip, it's game over for the rest. (6) BIG SKY STORM has wheeled off two straight victories. (3) COACH FOX was facing Open foes and has good early zip.

Race 10

(6) MASTER PINE held on for the show spot last time out. Trotter is zero for nine this year but clearly is knocking at the door. The good trip can put this guy back in the winner’s circle. (5) FLEX THE MUSCLE went down the road in his recent outing. (3) COLD WINNER is better than his last fiasco.

Race 11

(1) FULL PICTURE Hey that last try was quite good from post six. The 5-year-old mare draws the fence and good to see trainer Silverman calls on Bartlett to drive. Win package. (6) ATHLETICLYINCLINED got the job done at this level last time out. (4) RAMONA DISOMMA could contend with a return to her May 17 start.
