Best Bet: SHARTIN N (7th) Spot Play: ARRAKIS (11th) MEET STATS: 49 - 280 / $397.70 BEST BETS: 6 - 25 / $33.50 Race 1 (4) AMERICAN ISLAND could be tough to reel in. Inside post and tactical speed should translate to a favorable trip. (3) SOLO STORY Gets out of the rail slot and he does have positional speed to work out an ideal stalking trip. (6) BEGINNERS LUCK Is one of the expected speeds coming off a down the road score recently. Outside slot hurts but he should get an honest pace to chase. Race 2 (4) UVA HANOVER Parked at the 1/4, was compromised approaching the 3/4 mark and tired badly in his last try. With a better-timed run, trotter could take this. (1) WATKINS Comes out of two consecutive races finishing second. Post one adds to the appeal. (6) KATCH KANNA Based on his last three starts, trotter is knocking at the door. Race 3 (6) SOVEREIGN BANNER N Merits respect in here as he is coming off a good second-place finish last time out. Is in a good spot as any, as this is a relatively weak field. (3) TALK SHOW Parked-out at the half and his night was over on 3/16; must work out a needed stalking trip. (5) CHUCARO ACERO BC Takes deserving drop in class and he did show fair speed at this level. Race 4 (4) DIAMOND COWBOY Could not bring down Rock Absorber In his last trip. Has the tactical & positional speed. Consider for win honors. (3) CHEYENNE JEFFREY Gets serious class relief back to the level where he has three scores in a row. Appears to be the main threat to the top pick. (2) WYNBERG COURAGE N Will need to better last placing so maybe door number two might help his cause. Race 5 (2) FREEZE OUT She was chasing much better stock recently; two trips ago was completely out of it from the 8-hole but on her third try back at this condition the mare was on her 'A' game. Solid post and a favorable trip could be what she needs to make her return to the winner's circle. (1) MILADY DENVER A took down the energizing Mare (Macho Chick) last week on her way to her third straight victory. Gets first run on these from the pole position but value will be hard to come by. (7) BELLATRICKS Will need a favorable trip in order for her to contend from her far outside slot but it's not out of the question. Race 6 (2) MEDUSA Could not fire against a pumped-up L A Delight last week. Was quite good in the series two weeks ago, finishing a good second against Sell A Bit N. So given the fact she now moves to door number two she may get first run on that rival. (1) L A DELIGHT took charge by Gingras to the front on her way to an easy victory recently. Now the pacing mare draws the rail and appears to be the one to fear but odds will be relatively low. (4) LAKEISHA HALL Flashed good early zip throughout but she could not get take down a fast-closing Mackenzie A last week. She seems to be heading in the right direction. Maybe. Race 7 (4) SHARTIN N All alone at the wire giving this five-year-old miss her third straight victory and her second in the series. Value not here; she is clearly the one to deny. (3) SAFE FROM TERROR She broke approaching the ¾ pole and she made a great recovery late on the scene to grab the placing last week. (Player). (1) LADY SHADOW is one of the expected speeds and she might have first run on the top pick. Watch out. Race 8 (4) TWINKLE just could not hold off the challenge of Wishy Washy Girl in the series last week. Took the pocket route on her way to victory two starts back. So the pacing mare has the positional speed to turn the tables on that rival. (6) WISHY WASHY GIRL Two sharp scores in a row including a neck victory against the top pick recently. She must be respected despite the move to the 6-hole. (1) SHESJUSTADELIGHT N Very dull in her second attempt in the series, but now she gets the luck of the draw so that might help her cause. We shall see. Race 9 (3) DUDESALADY Was following Mackenzie A turning for home but that rival had the good jump on her and finished a solid third, missing the victory by a length and three quarters. Mare now gets post relief so turning the tables is a strong possibility. (6) MACKENZIE A floated very wide approaching three quarters to mow them down in deep stretch recently. Mare could be tough to reel in. (4) NEWBORN SASSY Showed pace but tired badly in the stretch run last week so she needs a favorable trip in order for her to contend with these; Possible. Race 10 (7) FOXY DAME N Has displayed speed in her last four tries. Gets an outside post but has the positional speed to work out an ideal stalking trip. Win threat at her best. (3) TRACEYS DESIRE Put in a nice late run for fourth money last time out. Should get an honest pace to chase. (1) BEST OF JENNA Took a tough break at the start and her day was over last week. She moves back to the fence where this Mare has had better success. Watch out. Race 11 (1) ARRAKIS was flat out of it last week. The good news is the trotting gelding goes back to the pole position, where he was a sharp second against a tough customer in Lily's Swan Pond two trips ago. Inside post and tactical speed should translate to a favorable trip. (3) GABE THE BEAR DEAN lost all chance when he was parked-out most of the way recently. Needs a better-timed run to be a factor; Capable. (2) BINGO QUEEN If you throw-out her last two debacles; mare knows how to be a contender from the inside. Not out of this. Race 12 (5) NEON SKY N Surged very late and she had to settle for fourth-place money last time around. Should receive an honest pace to chase and could blow past all of these with a better-timed run. (3) MACHO CHICK Seems to be getting better with age just could not get by a pumped-up Milady Denver A last week. Win threat. (2) KEYSTONE WANDA Was sent by Mr. Dube down the road on her way to an easy victory last time out. Consider her in here despite the rise in condition.
