(2) TYS A BIG STAR did show some early zip in his previous start; capable of moving forward. (8) VIPER HANOVER was sent down the road last out for the victory; chance despite the bad draw. (1) ROCKAVELLIAN got the job done via the pocket route in his recent trip; these might be a little tougher but he could contend.

Race 2

(3) BOB N TONY Based on his last three outings, this trotter might be able to get the job done. (5) POINTE OF HONOUR was very sharp in his latest score against lesser company; repeat is not out of the question. (4) KLM EXPRESS could have a say given the class relief.

Race 3

(4) BACK TO THE WEST was very keen in his last try. Pacing gelding could return to his winning ways. (3) SKY DESPERADO has speed and has every right to be a factor in this event. (1) SKY MESA raced evenly last out and the rail slot can help his chances; maybe.

Race 4

(5) ANGELS DELIGHT Consistent mare made her initial trip to Yonkers a winning one last week. Quite capable of getting the hat trick. (4) SHELLISCAPE and (1) ROCKLAMATION both of these gals last two qualifiers at the Meadowlands indicates they are ready to return to the races.

Race 5

(2) PERFECT PICTURE She moves out of the 8-hole and this gal gets a cozy post to work with; gets the call. (4) SEAGRAM Trotting gelding moves inside and he could be right in the swing of things. (5) WHATA WINNER could land a share of the purse.

Race 6

(1A) SWINGING BEAUTY will need a ground saving trip in this event and if she receives it, the rest will have to settle for second money; worth a play. (3) ANNDROVETTE makes her first start of 2014 and this two million dollar gal will be the one to down. (6) COCOA BEACH She has early pace and is not out of this.

Race 7

(6) MARTY PARTY flashed good speed at the Meadowlands last out. Fits well with these and could be ready to fire her best. (1) MAGIC STARLIGHT should be right in the mix from the rail slot and Brennan stays. (2) VIRGIN MARY's last two trips is an indication she is knocking at the door; watch out.

Race 8

Will take a shot with (6) TALL COTTON to make her presence felt against this select group of Open trotters. (7) SUPER MANNING rallied strongly to get the job done last out; main danger. (1) ZOOMING should do much better from the fence so don't overlook.

Race 9

(4) ROYAL CEE CEE N Two sharp efforts for this pacing mare and this eight-year-old miss is poised for the repeat. (6) SOMWHEROVRARAINBOW Easy score last out at the Big M; second best. (1) CHARISMA HANOVER completes the trifecta.

Race 10

(3) ECONOMY TERROR moves to the 3-hole and that could help her chances against this group, she might bring her 'A' game to the table; maybe. (4) YAGONNAKISSMEORNOT was sent down the road for all the glory last time around; big threat. (1) LETS GO HIGHER makes her initial start in 2014 and should be right in the mix from the fence.

Race 11

(5) CORAGGIOSO got the job done last out down the road. Five-year-old trotter is strong enough to boss these for his second straight score. (1) THREE CROW MO did not fire upstate last week but could have a fondness for the Hilltop and gets the 1-hole; beware. (3) LONG STORY SHORT has wheeled off two victories in a row, now gets a class test; watch out.

Race 12

(4) TOP BRAND Pacing miss just got up recently for win honors at the Meadowlands and should be fit and ready to take these to task for the repeat. (2) CAT CORA faced open foes upstate last out, could make some noise down the lane. (3) PALM PATROL gets class relief. Not out of this by far.
