MEET STATS: 26 - 96 / $202.90

Best Bet: HALLY (3rd)   Spot Play: LATE FLYIN N (12th)

Race 1

(7) SLEEP EASY Ten-year-old flashed good speed at the Meadowlands in his 2012 debut. The last time we saw this gelding he blasted around the uncovered horse at the three-quarter pole and took off to win going away. He can boss these at best. (1) NEWSAM came up the cones in deep stretch and nearly took home the prize in his previous try. Dangerous. (4) DRAFT HANOVER Two starts back, gelding was third-over past the half. Went wide around the final turn, but closed well for the show spot. Don't count him out of this.

Race 2

(3) IMPRESSIVE EARL got out of the three hole at the top of the stretch and charged home to victory last time out. Has good early zip to take his second straight score. (1) TREMENDOUS HIT was outrun in the early stages in his last try. Did exceptionally well making up ground but could not get to the winner. Big threat in here. (4) RODEO RED chased the leaders early but could not make a bid when they turned for home in his previous trip. Might need to revert to his late punch two starts back to contend with these.

Race 3

Last time out, (1) HALLY won like a 3-5 should; down the road from the fence. She stays in this condition and guess what, pacing mare retains the rail slot. Clearly the one to deny. (4) JK GERONIMO sat in the four-hole before coming uncovered at the half. Made a challenge but broke approaching the three-quarter marker. Look for better results from this four-year-old miss. (3) PETEANTNART was fifth along the fence and made a nice move from the rail to grab the show spot. Can be a factor with this group.

Race 4

(7) P H DREAMER Last time around, 7-year-old mare stayed in the pocket but could not get to the 3-5 choice Hally. Might have to go around two other horses to her inside to grab the lead and with soft fractions, she can take these to task for the victory. (3) LINDEN BEAUTY had dull cover towards the three-quarter pole and did not fire her best last time around. Has every right to turn it around with a better trip. (6) SKYWAY HANOVER Sharp performance in her last try when she had a challenge from 9-5 second choice Pop Artist at the half before putting her away past that call. Two in a row is not out of the cards.

Race 5

In a spread out field at the half mile pole last week, (6) NEW HAMPSHIRE BOY made up nice ground to grab live cover past the three-quarter marker but could not sustain his bid in the stretch drive. Brennan sees fit to drive this 8-year-old gelding and if there's a meltdown of the early leaders, this guy can mow them down for the score. (1) POWERFUL TOM came out of the same race as New Hampshire boy. Gelding had to wait outside early to clear for the lead, but tired in the stretch run. Can make some noise from the fence. (8) ROOKIE MISTAKE was fifth along the cones. Was blindswitched to last and caught wide in the stretch. Will get class relief tonight in hopes of better results.

Race 6

(6) SO CONFUSING made some headways down the stretch but could not get to the top pair Sad Tune & Natural Woman N last time out. Brennan takes over this 4-year-old miss and if the right trip comes her way, she can top these at her best. (1) MAKE A BUNDLE N made a sweeping move approaching three-quarters and mowed them down through the stretch in her latest. Main danger. (5) MARIE THE ARTIST came out of the same race as Make A Bundle N and was second best. Could be right square in the mix with these gals.

Race 7

Last week, (3) MARION MISS JULIE pulled outside at the top of the stretch but could not get to the 3-5 chalk Ringside Lauryn. Seven-year-old trotting mare has good tactical speed and gets Brennan to drive. She has every right to rate and pounce tonight. (6) CHOSEN VOYAGEUR Dover invader was second best in his last trip. Has speed to factor in here. (2) PERFECT SCAM Monticello shipper has wheeled off three straight victories. Hard to knock a horse that is consistent.

Race 8

(1) DOINIT DRAGONSTYLE went uncovered towards the half-mile pole and lasted for third in her last start. Nine-year-old pacing mare moves to the rail slot and Brennan keeps the faith with her. (3) ALLSWELTHATENDSWEL has good early zip and put in a game effort to nail down the place spot last time out. Big threat against these. (4) BCS JESSE blasted out of the seven-hole to grab a short lead on Allswelthatendswel but tired in deep stretch; post relief.

Race 9

(7) GOTABGOODTOBLUCKY showed good speed from the one-hole but could not get to the 1-5 favorite Big Sky Storm last week. Will have a lot of company to his inside. Maybe Manzi will try to rate this gelding in hopes of blowing them away in deep stretch. (2) FORT VALLEY AS Flashed good speed early speed, angled out before the three-quarter pole to get the job done as the slight favorite. Very dangerous for the repeat. (3) MR INVINCIBLE was the boss against lesser company with a wire-to-wire score last time out. Can be a contender with these despite the escalation.

Race 10

(7) STRUNG OUT had dead aim on the leader but went flat in the stretch drive and had to settle for the show spot last time out. Seven-year-old pacer has tactical speed and with a complete meltdown of the early pacesetters, this guy could mow them down in deep stretch. (4) ROCKROCKWHOSTHERE Pena trainee ships in from the Meadowlands. Did show speed at Chester and drops a bit in class. Has his main man Brennan aboard. (1) ALL STAR DRAGON pulled outside but the 6-5 choice Fox Valley Tribal was much the best. Not out of this with the rail slot tonight.

Race 11

(3) CARBON FOOTPRINT was in the three-hole the entire trip. Made a rail run to nail down the place spot last time. Five-year-old fits well in here and he has every right to rate and pounce to get the job done. (7) BIG SKY DOMINO showed speed but tired along the fence against tougher foes last time out. This group is right within his scope. Main danger. (6) RINGSIDE LAURYN N Pena trained trotting miss was sharp in victory. The rise in class should not be a problem for this 6-year-old mare.

Race 12

(2) LATE FLYIN N sat the pocket, angled outside for the stretch drive and looked to be sure winner but lost to the 4-5 favorite Sentbytheangels. She has good speed and this gal is good enough to put her best foot forward to get the job done. (3) JIMMY THE TERROR was forced to go wide when she was bothered by rough-gaited My Lady Bonnard. She clearly has sharp speed and Brennan takes over. The one to catch. (4) CARNIVALOCITY pulled the pocket but was second best last time. Can't overlook this one.
