MEET STATS: 24 - 60 / $135.00

Best Bet:  SAILING CRUISE (10th)   Spot Play: SFUMATO (9th)

Race 1

(2) TENANT IN CHIEF was uncovered and could not threaten into the well-rated winner last week; prior start the veteran had plenty of pace from the eight hole but no real chance; Bartlett will be close enough to strike tonight. (1) MASTER OF DESIRE returns with class and post relief. (4) DEFIANCE N fits nicely at this level.

Race 2

(1) WESTERN DAKOTA finally got his act together and posted an upset win for Vallee; a repeat performance certainly isn't a reach. (3) FUTURE CHARACTER had some good efforts when last seen here. (5) UP FRONT TIM T is erratic, but he does have some class to him.

Race 3

(3) NOBLES GRAND SLAM dropped to this level but had no realistic chance from post eight; Manzi can take these wire to wire tonight. (1) NEXT FLIGHT was a pocket-rocket winner first time Lachance. (4) EMJAYEM GRAND A drops again and should be more involved.

Race 4

(4) HANDSOME HARRY dug in very nicely to hold one notch lesser at bay last out; classy horse can repeat versus this type. (1) JIMMIE HANOVER was aimed too high last week; this is a better spot. (6) WESTERN SHORE ships from the Meadowlands and the millionaire will fit well here.

Race 5

(4) ARTS LAIR never entered the action last week from a tough spot; gelding gets post relief tonight and this barn has been sending out some live runners. (6) WHOLLY LOUY returns to Yonkers and he has a good history here. (1) BLUERIDGE WESTERN picked up the pieces to score across the river; veteran has raced well here in the past.

Race 6

(3) TOBAGO CAYS has proven that he can compete at this highest level; a live trip can take this. (4) LUCKY MAN gets the post relief he desperately needs and that makes him a major factor. (8) FORIEGN OFFICER beat these last week; if you fancy his chances tonight you will get a much healthier price.

Race 7

(6) BIG BAY POINT blazed around the oval and ran out of gas early stretch in his local return; maybe he makes it to the line tonight. (1) PAN FROM NANTUCKET had too far to come last week; he should be stalking from the pocket here. (2) LIFE UP FRONT has been a steady earner recently.

Race 8

(6) BIG BAY POINT blazed around the oval and ran out of gas early stretch in his local return; maybe he makes it to the line tonight. (1) PAN FROM NANTUCKET had too far to come last week; he should be stalking from the pocket here. (2) LIFE UP FRONT has been a steady earner recently.

Race 9

(5) SFUMATO tried to leave from the outside and was hung to dry; gelding should be in line for a better trip tonight. (1) SOUTHBOUND TRUCKER lands inside and he's proven he can be competitive with these. (2) WAYWARD SON debuts for new connections, let’s see if he can maintain his decent form.

Race 10

(2) SAILING CRUISE looks like he outclasses these and Stalbaum should handle him accordingly. (4) ELECTRIC OUI was used early last week; smoother sailing should translate into better results. (6) EAGLE NOW tried it off the pace last out and closed well.

Race 11

(4) OK BRAVEHEART debuts for Josh Green via claim and he looks like one of five here that have a legitimate chance; why not try the likely best price of the five? (5) REPORT FOR DUTY N missed a month, raced gamely last out. (1) ANDY BARAN has tailed off, but he drops to a more realistic level.

Race 12

(1) NOB HILL HIGH missed a head in the Open when last seen here; Stratton can trip out from the rail. (4) ANDY ROO gets Brennan in the bike, looks like a big player. (2) WAYNE THE LEFTY sat off a wicked pace then had the best closing kick last week; two in a row is not impossible.
