Woodford Thoroughbreds in Reddick, Fla., released the advertised fees for its 2016 stallion roster. The farm will roll out a new incentive plan for the upcoming season, calling for no out-of-pocket stud fees, which will be paid out of future proceeds. The farm will also offer a variety of package options with special incentives. He’s Had Enough and Soldat will once again lead the way, each commanding $5,000, which is unchanged from the previous breeding season. Soldat’s first foals will be yearlings of 2016, while He’s Had Enough’s first crop will arrive in the coming year. Both He’s Had Enough, a 5-year-old son of Tapit, and Soldat, a 7-year-old War Front horse, covered more than 100 mares in 2015. The only change in fee among the returning Woodford stallions is Currency Swap, a 6-year-old son of High Cotton who will stand for $2,500 in 2016 after previously standing for $3,500.
