Woodbine: Seen It All Before parlays perfect trip into Vice Regent victory
By Ron Gierkink

ETOBICOKE, Ontario—The flashy chestnut Seen It All Before captured his first stakes after a perfect stalking trip Sunday at Woodbine in the $125,000 Vice Regent.
With Luis Contreras aboard, Seen It All Before saved ground in a stalking position in the one-mile turf route, while Jenna’s Wabbit set slow fractions as the 4-5 favorite. Contreras angled Seen It All Before wide early in the stretch, and he went by Jenna’s Wabbit and Ultimate Destiny with an eighth of a mile remaining en route to a 1 1/2-length tally, in 1:35.17.
“I had the best trip in the race,” said Contreras, who won three races on the card. “I wanted to stay close to Jenna’s Wabbit, and kick in the stretch.”
Ultimate Destiny finished a clear second over a fading Jenna’s Wabbit, and Courtville checked in fourth in the seven-horse field of Ontario-sired 3-year-olds.
Seen It All Before ($8) collected $75,000 for Colebrook Farm and trainer Ashlee Brnjas.

ONE NINE NINE raced quite wide en route to a commendable second behind future stakes winner Man Stuff the only time she saw action last spring. She wintered at Payson Park before working four times here on the Poly, and should be ready to rumble with Da Silva riding for a live barn. GLORIOUS ANGEL ran against a speed bias when fifth in an April 21 maiden special. Trainer Mark Casse hit with 20% of his second-out droppers to maiden-claiming company over the past five years ($1.50 ROI). MORNING HAS BROKEN was a chalky second vs.
