ETOBICOKE, Ontario - Longshot Professor’s Ride held off favored Strut the Course to notch her first stakes victory Saturday at Woodbine in the $125,000 La Prevoyante.

Professor’s Ride ($32.70) stalked the leader Silent Love in the one-mile turf route for Ontario-sired 3-year-old fillies. Professor’s Ride hit the front early in the stretch and got home on by top a neck in 1:39.36 over the yielding turf. Primordia wound up third in a field reduced to eight with the scratch of Silent Star.

The La Prevoyante was also the first stakes score for Michelle Rainford, who rode Professor’s Ride for trainer Scott Fairlie.

“She’s very competitive,” said Rainford. “She really showed that down the lane. She looked that horse in the eye and wouldn’t let her get by.”

Professor’s Ride banked $75,000 for Hard Eight Stables and Ace Racing Stable.

Congrats to Scotty and Michelle on a job well done. Gutsy little filly showed them how game she can be as she bull dogged Strut The Course thru the lane.

This is actually the coolest job Ive had. I work at Home with Google. I've made $64,000 so far this year working online and I'm a full time student. Moreover, Last Thursday My Uncle Carson got a stunning gold Porsche Cayenne Hybrid only from working part time off a pc. Official statement Bling6.com
