(2) BEACHIN LINDY can turn things around in a hurry here if he behaves. (4) TASTE OF HISTORY couldn't fend off a razor-sharp Dubious Claim last week, but he could do here with a bit easier trip. (1) HOMEY JOE is interesting here coming off a break and keeping driver Waples. I'll use underneath. Race 3 (5) HANNELORE HANOVER is simply the Queen Bee vs. her own gender and impossible for me to go against here. (4) EMOTICON HANOVER is very sharp and she could complete an exacta that goes off at odds-on. (2) CELEBRITY RUTH looks next best here. (3) DREAM TOGETHER can round out a chalky Super in a race that seemingly offers little value. Race 4 (7) DUBIOUS CLAIM was sensational last week pacing a 52 4/5 back 1/2 uncovered effortlessly. His price should climb here. I'll stick with him. (5) LONDON SEELSTER was good too and paced well enough to win but was nailed by one that has been flying home each week. I'll use him on the Pick tickets here. (2) OSBORNE SEELSTER could work out another sweet trip here and that makes him dangerous. (9) SIMPLE KINDA MAN lost a heartbreaker in the Somebeachsomewhere, but post does him no favors here; small share predicted. Race 5 (2) COURTLY CHOICE had a rough trip in the NA Cup elim, going first up a long way then hooking wheels at the head of the lane. He should bounce right back here. (1) SUMMER TRAVEL raced tough to just miss the final. He looks like the main danger. (4) BURNING MIDNIGHT has turned into a very effective closer. If the race falls apart late, he'll be the one swooping past. (8) MAJOR AUTHORITY is worth a look with Gingras driving here. Race 6 (7) SINTRA seems perfectly primed for a crack at the Mohawk Gold Cup and I'll give last year's Canadian Pacing Derby winner a slight nod over (6) MCWICKED, who was impressive in winning first-over last week in preparation for this. (5) JIMMY FREIGHT takes on his elders here, but he is so sharp that it's not out of the question that he can grab a piece of this. (2) CHECK SIX is always dangerous with Gingras in the bike and he's not out of this. Race 7 (4) MONGOLIAN HERO N was kept inside last time which as it turns out probably wasn't the best move. He can bounce back here if he gets put into play. (5) JINS SHARK was a solid winner from the worst post two starts back and dropping back a level puts him in contention here. (8) FOOL ME ONCE also drops after a steady diet of Preferred races and he should be heard from here. (3) TRACEUR HANOVER can contend here if he gets sent for position near the front early. Race 8 (1) WINDSUN GLORY missed the Roses Are Red final last year then came back a week later and jogged in this class. I'm predicting that history repeats here. (5) WITCH DALI gets a much better post here and she should be right there vs. these. (6) TWINKLE can contend for a share here with a move to a better post; using underneath. (7) SANDBETWEENURTOES has seen better days, but it wouldn't be a shock if she woke up here with a better try. Race 9 (3) KISSIN IN THE SAND parlayed a good trip and smart drive into a sharp win last week, but she seemed much the best and she has a big shot here. (4) SHOWER PLAY is as sharp as can be and a good trip puts her right in the picture here. (6) ALEXIS FAITH did all the work and got picked off only late last week. She could be peaking at the right time. (2) SUDDEN PASSING tripped out, but she flew once free and she is another who is contentious in this well-matched field. Race 10 (3) ALARM DETECTOR has only been beaten once to date and he returned in sharp form; slight nod on his home track. (4) WOLFGANG was the faster elimination winner, but he was allowed to lead as he pleased throughout. This should be a good matchup. (7) FIFTYDALLARBILL is no slouch and he could pick up all the pieces if the top two engage in any kind of battling. (5) LAWMAKER produced his best race yet in his elimination and he is worth using underneath at a price here. Race 11 (5) BLUE MOON STRIDE can get a much better trip here moving to the middle of the gate and she could be the value in this field; slight nod. (7) SHARTIN N made an incredible recovery to make the final, but she is erratic. She likely either wins or breaks stride here. (4) BLAZIN BRITCHES was gifted easy fractions which made her impossible to track down. She'll be the one they are all trying to catch again. (3) TEQUILA MONDAY won't get the same trip here that she got last week, but she can share. Race 12 (2) STAY HUNGRY ate up a lot of ground in a hurry in his elimination and he could get the best trip here; slight nod in what should be an exciting renewal of the North America Cup. (4) LATHER UP is a deserving favorite here, but there could be lots of action and that could play against him. (1) ST LADS NEPTUNE keeps improving and he isn't without a chance at what should be a nice price here. (3) WES DELIGHT is a contender with his strong tactical speed and (7) DONE WELL is another that rates highly here in a field full of contenders with the best horses all drawing inside post 8. Race 13 (4) THE DOWNTOWN BUS makes his third start back after missing more than a month and if he is closer turning for home here, he should be dangerous. (8) TALBOT ROMEO is on a great roll and hard to leave off any tickets right now. (3) TIGERS WAY is enticing when you look at his final quarters, but he often kicks into his highest gear when it’s too late. I wouldn't take a short price here. (6) HIDDEN DELIGHT can sit a nice trip here and convert it into a share. Race 14 (7) XTERNAL has excelled with McClure handling the lines and he will be flying late again here. Slight nod over (2) PHYSICALLYINCLINED who drops a couple of levels and is sure to be put into action early here. (1) CLASSY DRAGON is typically competitive at this level and I could see him tripping out here. (5) SHADOW MARGEAUX can take a share off an inside following trip vs. these. Race 15 (3) DREAMFAIR B J steps up off a sharp win and he may control this race too leaving from a good post. (1) COOL ROCK is sharp and dangerous if he can stay within range here. (5) ROCK THIS WAY gets a much better post here and he is capable vs. this kind; beware. (9) DREAMY FELLA is a good closer to include on your High-5 tickets at what should be a big price.
