Favored Lottacosta ($6.10) held off Coy Coyote and My List in the final strides to take the $126,600 My Dear Stakes at Woodbine.

Ray Sabourin rode Lottacosta, who broke on top and set a quick pace in the five-furlong dash for 2-year-olds fillies. She raced on her left lead throughout the stretch, and beat Coy Coyote by a neck. My List finished another neck back in third in the nine-horse field.

"Everything unfolded fantastically for her," said John Ross, who trains Lottacosta. "She broke sharp, and I think that's key for young horses in these five-furlong races. She showed some grit down the lane. I was really happy with her."

Lottacosta ran the distance in 57.38 seconds, earning $75,000 in her stakes debut for Jam Jar Racing Stable.

* Financingavailable ($4.80) lowered Woodbine's seven-furlong track record in Sunday's supporting feature, the $100,000 Sweet Briar Too Stakes for fillies and mares.

Financingavailable led throughout under Jim McAleney and completed the distance in 1:20.49. The previous record, 1:20.60, was set by Oronero in 1995.
