London Snow ($8.60) parlayed an ideal stalking trip into her first stakes victory in the $126,200 Lady Angela at Woodbine.

London Snow tracked the leaders, San Diego Nights and Perigee Girl, on the outside in the seven-furlong dash for Ontario-sired 3-year-old fillies. She hit the front at the eighth pole, then drew clear to score by 2 1/2 lengths in a final time of 1:24.16.

San Diego Nights finished second after setting the pace, while favored Executive Flight rallied wide for third in the eight-horse field. The trainer of San Diego Nights claimed foul against the winner for interference at the head of the stretch, but it was disallowed.

Steven Bahen rode London Snow for trainer John Charalambous.

"She rated real nicely," said Bahen. "Around the turn, I picked her up and got her going, because she does look around a lot, and it worked."

London Snow banked $75,000 for owner Fred Martin.
