(4) SPRING HOLIDAY was raced conservatively in the slop last time and he is capable of better. You should get a much better price on him here, too. (3) MONI JUSTICE stayed in as the winner was making his move, then followed him and tried to nail him late, but to no avail. She can take a slice here. (5) EXS AND OHS comes off a big maiden win but these are much tougher; smaller share predicted. Race 3 (2) LABERO switches to a catch-driver here and meets a field that he should beat. Will the 20th time be the charm for him? (1) BERLIOZ had one sharp qualifier and he is he is heavily staked. This barn sends them ready, so I’ll use him on Pick 5 tickets. (7) TOWN HALL JUSTICE can rally late for another share here. (8) FAN THE FLAMES is worth a look for the exotics with his good early speed. Race 4 (9) STRIKE IT UP chased the same sharp winner twice straight and although he draws furthest out here, he should prove best if he gets put into the race. (7) STORMY CASH raced well in the slop last time, but he was no match for the winner. He can be a threat here from close range. (8) PANTHER SEELSTER has impressed out of town, but he needs to drop at least five seconds to win this, it appears. (1) SUPERSPORT raced better last week. I’ll use him underneath. Race 5 (5) BRANDON HANOVER took some action at the windows for his debut and showed some late interest. He could be much better here with that race under his belt. (6) CROSS MY MIND failed as the chalk in the slop last time, but his effort two starts back puts him in the picture here; using. (7) STOLEN ART shakes the tough Hidden Delight and he is another in with a decent chance. (10) AMERICAN MUSIC comes off a solid debut effort, but from this post, a small award is likely his ceiling. Race 6   (3) APOTHIC was thought enough of to try the Grand Circuit a couple of times last year. This isn’t a tough spot to make her sophomore debut and her qualifier was solid; top call. (7) ZAYRA BAYAMA got a clean line last week and closed mildly. She could improve sharply now. (6) SEASIDE SHADOW had a useful opener out of town now ships to the big track. She is one of few with good recent form in here; using. (1) JENNAS DELIGHT is another coming off a decent recent race that I’ll use in multi-race bets. Race 7 (3) REGAL MAGICIAN has been solid in every start in which he stays flat. He can pass all of these if he trots the whole way. (2) SCOTTIES SPIRIT reversed racing styles last time and left hard then tried it first-up while racing in the slop. He is better racing off a helmet and can improve here with a different trip. (8) BURLINGTON was used up early in the mile last week. He is capable of much better with an easier trip. (7) PARKHILL NONSTOP continues to be a tough horse to drive, but he can take a small slice in here. Race 8 (6) ROAD TRIPPER showed nothing in the slop last week, but his race two back is good enough to win this. Expect a more aggressive try here. (1) SEVEN STARS stayed trotting the whole way, which is most of the battle for this former expensive yearling purchase. He could go forward now if he stays flat again. (8) AERIAL FLIGHT showed some talent at 2 and she is in with a shot here if the intent is there in her sophomore debut. (7) SLIEVE LEAGUE – still winless in 22 tries – should be good for a smaller share. Race 9 (4) WEATHERLY had a beautiful trip last time, but he was picked off late by a rival that had a similarly-good trip following him the entire mile. He rates best here but may have to fend off (7) DEEPFAVE HANOVER late if that one stays on stride this time. (1) BEACH RUNNER AM faced a classy foe last time in Ottawa and his form has been generally decent of late. I expect him to hit the ticket here. (3) LUKE AND DUKE was bet down last time, but he got used up early battling with the eventual winner. He could better this placing if he gets a decent trip. Race 10 (9) LARRYS PETROCK shakes hot rival Beachin Lindy here and meets a field that he should handle. (3) LIFE HAPPENED shipped north and notched a solid win. He should be the main threat to the choice. (8) HIDDEN DELIGHT was third behind the choice last time and he figures to take another slice. (2) THE DOWNTOWN BUS should go much better here moving inside. I’ll use him underneath. (4) FOUR FOR ORR notched a big upset last time but these are tougher; small share predicted.
