Best Bet: REGIL TIGER (9th) Spot Play: YOUNG MAN MATT (8th) Race 1 - $50,000 Guaranteed Pick Five Pool Race 4 - $50,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool PICK 5: 6,7,8/2,4/4,8/2,3,6/2,7,9 = $21.60 EARLY PICK 4:  2,3,6/2,7,9/6,9/3,5,6 = $54 LATE PICK 4: 3,5,6/2,4/7/3,4,7,9,10 = $30 MEET STATS: 223 - 722 / $1,334.10  BEST BETS: 31 - 69 / $123.90 SPOT PLAYS: 24 - 70 / $204.30 Race 1 (7) SNARKY HANOVER - winner of 3 of 4 this year so far - is in a decent spot to take another here. (6) TREASURED TEE was too far back last time but closed willingly. He has a shot here if there is some flow. (8) LIMA SON had a promising start to his career before being sidelined. This isn't the toughest spot for his sophomore debut if the intent is there. (2) ASA ONAMISSION closed a big gap on Monday night. He can hit the board here starting from the inside. Race 2 (4) PARTIGAS BLUE CHIP had no chance in her debut with the trip she got. She has that experience under her belt and gets a better post here; slight nod. (2) A REAL LADY also had an eventful trip when finishing just ahead of the choice; using. (1) WHOZYOMOMMA got a great trip last time and fell short. I have to think the top two will get the upper hand on her if they can avoid trouble this time. (9) SAVANNAH SMILES stopped late in her last start, then missed some time. I'll use her only underneath in this spot. Race 3 In a race with little form, (8) SOUTHWIND SPARTAN showed enough early foot from the tricky #1 post last time that he may clear these quickly, and if he does, he could be gone. (4) RADICAL ATTEMPT shows a 28-flat kicker in his qualifier and McDonnell is aboard for a second drive. He could wake up here at a price. (2) JUST JEWEL makes sense to use underneath in Tris and Supers as she can get a following trip near the front and stick around. (7) FAN THE FLAMES is worth a look adding Lasix here. Race 4 (3) TURBO HILL was monstrous in his debut; call to repeat despite the class rise. (2) THE DOWNTOWN BUS grinded out a maiden win last time and he clearly came ready for action off a break; using. (6) GERARDO looks solid on paper, but he's turning into a bit of a money burner; your call. (4) HEZA BIG DEALER figures to sneak onto the Tri or Super ticket here. Race 5 (7) TWICE AS SPICY took heavy early action last time, then set solid fractions only to be picked off late. She can take this group coast-to-coast. (9) PRINCESS JEWELS is on a good roll and she's hard to leave out, even from post 9. (2) ONE CHILLY NIGHT got a bit of a lucky trip to win her debut, but she figures to get another decent trip here; using. (6) GLANCEWITHME continues to race well and hit the ticket each time. More of the same is probably coming here. Race 6 (6) LABATT HANOVER cut a huge first half and still almost held on last time. A more well-rated steer gets the job done here. (9) STERLING BOUDICA has some appeal as an upsetter here if she can stay flat. (4) APLOMB HANOVER gets an interesting trainer change here. He might be worth a flyer. (2) THE POWER OF MANY should leave better here starting from the inside and that puts her in the picture. Race 7 (3) ONE OF THE FEW moves inside and gets Henry for a second drive. He may get more aggressive here and try to take control of this race; slight nod. (5) ICE HOCKEY HANOVER made a big move then tired in the stretch last week. Maybe McNair learned something in his first drive on the gelding. I'll use him in the Pick 4. (6) OCEANVIEW DEB gets off the rail so she may get situated better at the start. She is another capable of taking this. (4) DADS HAT turned in what may have been his best race ever last time. He can hit the ticket again. Race 8 (4) YOUNG MAN MATT missed more than a month between starts last time and he still fired home in 27 flat. He looks good here. (2) BEACHIN LINDY got jammed up at the head of the lane behind a tiring leader, broke, then re-grouped and almost won. While he is almost sure to get overbet off that sequence of events, he is one of the main contenders here. (1) SUPERSPORT and (5) BR EZLIKSNDYMORNIN are two good ones to use underneath in Tris and Supers. Race 9 (7) REGIL TIGER - claimed five times in a row - is once again the one to beat as he goes after his 61st win. (6) LISVINNIE went a tough trip from post 10 last time when 3rd to the choice. He is the logical alternative here if you are trying to beat the chalk. (3) MCSINNER MAN was claimed by a barn that can move one up sharply; consider for exotics. (5) AFTER MARKET consistently hits the board racing out of town but these are much tougher. He may sneak onto the Super here. Race 10 (10) NOW WHAT HANOVER has been so good recently and now he goes for the white-hot leading trainer and driver. This is a rare horse starting from the dreaded 10-hole that I'll take on top. (4) MACHCELLERATOR got hung the mile last time but moving in a few posts gives him a better chance here, the only concern being he finishes second three times more often than he wins. (3) CHARMBO BLITZ is capable of a stout rally if he is in range turning for home. (7) OK ICEMAN comes off a much-improved effort and he can share here again. (9) ISLAND ENERGETIC can be closer here if he stays on stride. [DRF HARNESS NEWSLETTER: Sign Up for the FREE DRF Harness Newsletter. Fresh content and insights delivered each Thursday.]
