Race 1

(6) STORMY CASH had an eventful trip last time, first suffering interference at the 1/2, then lacking room in the stretch. A smoother journey gets him his maiden win. (4) STRIKE IT UP, who is a half-brother to millionaire Strike An Attitude, showed enough in the final quarter of his lone qualifier to suggest he can be ready here at first asking. (7) REDWOOD AGAIN had a decent opener and if he can work out a better trip here, he can threaten. (2) HIDDEN DELIGHT is one that shows promise but some gaps in activity. His most recent qualifier is promising; using.

Race 2

(8) HIGHLAND DYNAMITE took lots of support in her debut but blew up at the start. Re-qualified, I’ll give her the nod here. (3) IMPRESSIVELY DONE showed some late zip in her March 8th qualifier and she gets Lasix here for her debut, plus hot driver Henry; using. (7) ROAD TRIPPER finished well ahead of Impressively Done in that qualifier and he may be finally coming to hand; using. (4) EXS AND OHS most recent start puts her in the mix with these, but her pilot rarely wins on this circuit.

Race 3

(3) MAGICS LUCKY CHARM finds a good spot here to break her maiden; top call. (7) FAN THE FLAMES is coming around and he looks like the main danger. (2) MISS LOO LOO BELLE took a ton of play for her debut but broke. She’s in this if she behaves. (5) TOWN HALL JUSTICE, who showed some late interest in her debut, is in with an upset chance.

Race 4

(5) MAGICAL ALBERT seems to get better every race and he has beaten some of these before; top call. (4) GERARDO is always a contender, but his seconditis is a concern. (6) THE DOWNTOWN BUS couldn’t keep pace with a strong winner last time, but he should be able to take at least a share in this field. (3) NOAHS MILL moves up after being promoted to a victory through disqualification. A small share seems likely here.

Race 5

(5) ZAYRA BAYAMA – a full-sister to 1:48 3/5 pacer Rebeka Bayama – looks ready to roll her for her debut. (6) DREAMS ON ME raced tough in defeat last time and she’s the other one that I’ll use in multi-race bets. (4) WHOZYOMOMMA keeps coming close and she should hit the ticket here. (3) ASPECIAL PRESENCE closed into a slowing pace last time. She should make it onto the Super ticket in this field.

Race 6

In a wide-open race, I’ll give a slight nod to (7) REGAL MAGICIAN, who can take it if he stays flat. (5) OCEANVIEW DEB has improving form and Roy continues to run hot; using. (9) PARKHILL NONSTOP has been racing better for trainer/driver Hudon and he will pop one of these times at a price. (6) DONIZETTI is another with gait issues that figures here if he can stay trotting.

Race 7

(4) EXPERT BAYAMA was getting close at the wire last week and that was a sharp effort. He gets top call here. (2) KAZIMOTO figures to get a better trip here and he’s a threat. (6) GILLYS BOY responded to a driver change to Roy with a sharp win last time. He is the third one I’ll use in the Pick 4s. (7) FREDDY BEAR will probably be closing belatedly for a slice.

Race 8

(3) BRACKLEY BEACH lands in a soft spot here and he wouldn’t need to improve much on his March 9th qualifier to beat these. (6) DEVILS PEAK has had 17 chances so far to no avail, but in this field he has a shot. (7) BADLANDS BADBOY brings some good form in from Flamboro and he can hit the ticket here. (1) MCKINLEY is another who has had many chances, but he looks like one that will make the Super.

Race 9

(1) LARRYS PETROCK debuts for some new connections here and there’s no reason to think his roll won’t continue in this field. (5) BEACHIN LINDY has had two eventful trips in a row. A better driver here puts him in the picture. (2) BR EZLIKSNDYMORNIN figures to close late for a share. (8) WYN is another closer to use underneath in this race.

Race 10

(7) VINES TO HEAVEN was used up early last time after missing a start. A more gradual approach here should result in her getting back on track. (3) PRINCESS JEWELS always seems to be in position to win turning for home. I have to use her here. (1) SWEET ANA HANOVER unleashed a nice late kick last time and she can make the Tri here with a similar approach. (6) SALLY DE VIE gets to try the big circuit after a good run at Flamboro; use underneath. (10) TWICE AS SPICY had no luck last time when hung the route. If she takes a deep-closing approach here, she could spice up the exotics with a late charge to hit the board.
