Race 3 (3) QUADRANGLE was beaten by a foe last week who has yet to lose and he may have found a field here that he can beat; top call. (1) OCEANVIEW DEB raced unevenly last time, but he came on to get the win down the lane after looking like he was backing up in more than one spot. The rail could be tricky for him here, but he can contend. (2) NOBLE PRIZE figures to improve leaving from the inside. (5) SKYDECK raced well last time considering how long he was parked. He can share here. Race 4 (6) PRETTY ANGEL EYES gets a barn change and a notable driver upgrade here. Expect sharp improvement. (3) JK LOCKHERUP is another that races from a new barn shipping in from New Jersey. She faces elders but has shown she has the speed to contend. (9) BIRCH ISLAND BETTY was an impressive winner of her debut race and she’s hard to leave out here, despite her post. (10) PAYTHELINEBLUECHIP has improving form, but post 10 likely relegates her to a smaller share here. Race 5 (5) SHADOW OF LINDY gets a slight nod in a totally wide-open race, based on his good December 14tb qualifier. (7) GILLEYS BOY has the speed to contend here and faces what looks like easier; using. (9) HERMANUS steps up off an easy maiden win and this isn’t the toughest spot. Toss him on multi-race bets. (1) IOWA NEIGHTIVE was racing well before he got sick and he could race better than you might guess based on his mediocre qualifier. Race 6 (6) WINNING LYRIC trotted a sub-28 third 1/4 in his comeback race which indicates he has returned sharp. With a better start, he gets the job done here. (8) HIGHLAND TOP HILL is a must-use coming off a sharp win. (3) ODD BALL figures to close for a minor share again here. (2) ROSESAREEXPLOSIVE has been decent in both starts for Baillargeon. She’s in with an upset chance here. Race 7 (3) SPORTY MUSTANG made up a lot of ground in the stretch in his debut and this is a good spot for him to graduate; top call. (9) DEVILS PEAK re-emerged late after taking a shuffle and a quick start again puts him in contention. (5) CAROLINA MAGIC is worth a look here based on the way he finished his December 14th qualifier. (6) OVERLORD is another who finished fast in his most recent qualifier that can hit the ticket. Race 8 If (6) BUZZ can stay trotting this time, he could take this all the way on the lead. (1) MISSYS GA GA is another who broke last time that rates highly here if she can stay flat. She was a winner last time Roy drove and he returns here. (2) STREAMSONG always seems to move too late and an inside post likely isn’t great for her; use underneath. (3) LEXUS ROCKY gets a much better post here which could mean he hits the ticket at a price. Race 9 (1) KINGSLEY B comes back in a week after missing a month between starts last time and making his second start for Moreau; sharp improvement is expected. (2) SPEEDLING was first up in an accelerating pace last time and he understandably tired. He has an upset shot here if he can work out a following trip. (6) FIRST CAR was used up early from the 10-hole last time. He is another that can take this with a better trip. (5) BIG PETES STYLE can pass a few of these late for a share. Race 10 (3) THE BIG BEAST looks good to take these all the way racing first off the claim. (2) OUTLAW GUNPOWDER races best for Cullen and he returns to his barn here; using.
