Add all of that up and you get a Pick 5 single to kick off the card. (2) UF BETTORS HANOVER has caught fire in his past two starts, but I suspect he will be coming too late to threaten the choice here. (7) REIKI is undefeated for Marfisi after being claimed on March 7th. He should be in the thick of things here, too. (3) RED JOHN hung a bit in the lane last time, but that was an improved effort and he can close for a small slice here. Race 2 (5) FONDUE was good in her 2018 debut and with expected improvement here, she can beat these. (4) ROYAL WITCH stands out on paper, but she has missed 3 1/2 weeks after racking up two impressive wins in a row; mixed signals. (6) CHARMBO CHROME put together two solid efforts in a row and he is hard to ignore considering how sharp he is right now. (7) FRENCH BASTILLE can hang around for a small share, same as he did last time. Race 3 (1) TUXEDO BAY gave it a solid try vs. the hottest horse on the grounds last week. I suspect he will look to beat these from off the pace here and succeed. (6) XTERNAL finished just behind the choice, but had an easier trip. He looks like the main threat, however. (2) HUMBOLDT was impressive in victory last time, closing powerfully late. He isn't out of this. (3) BIG PETES STYLE may have reached his class limit and he probably won't last against these. Race 4 (3) GILLYS BOY does best with aggressive handling and he is unbeaten with leading driver Roy calling the shots; call to repeat. (2) LYONS WILLIAM could trip out similar to the way he did two starts back; and upset; using. (4) OLLIESTRIKESFAME has put together three sharp efforts in a row and he can threaten here, too. (6) MAGICAL ALBERT tries hard every week and he could better this placing with a reasonable trip. Race 5 (1) MAXIMUSCLE goes for a barn that is clicking at 38% (5 for 13) in first starts off the claim; top call. (5) HLDONTGHTTOYURDRMS made two moves at this level last time and was right there at the wire. He's the one to beat here. (3) SETANTA has been starting much better recently which gives him a much better chance to hit the board. (4) MEADOWBRANCH MEMO can be a late threat at this class, but he would need a perfect setup to beat them all. Race 6 (4) CULTURAL PARADISE caught my eye last time the way he was flying late in the mile. A decent trip should see him beating these. (3) RESISTANCE FUTILE was a winner in this class two starts back and he should be a major threat vs. these. (2) MAJOR HILL figures on the class drop from the top class, but he will likely be overbet in this spot relative to his chances. (7) CLASSY DRAGON should be passing many of these late to hit the ticket. Race 7 (4) JINS SHARK was uncovered on the rim a long way last time and he kept coming. He looks best here and he may try to take control earlier this time. (1) MACHAL JORDAN had a useful tightener three days ago in London and the classy veteran would be no shock here. (6) VELOCITY DRIVEN is in top form, but he will likely be closing belatedly this time. (3) SHADOW MARGEAUX can sit an inside trip and stick around to hit the tri or super ticket. Race 8 This is a tricky race with several possible outcomes, one of them being that erratic (7) ETRUSCAN HANOVER stays flat and beats a field that he outclasses when he is right. I'll give him the nod, but if he runs, the race becomes wide-open. (5) CATCH THE DREAM moves to a much better post so he could be more aggressive early; using. (4) FREE WILLY HANOVER failed as the chalk last time, but he fits well here and he should be heard from. (1) O NARUTAC PERFETTO will likely revert to a closing style here and he could win this if he gets the right setup. Race 9 (6) WINDSONG LIGHTNING raced much better last week and it appears as though he may have the opportunity to land the pocket spot at the start here. I'll stick with him at what should be a square price. (4) BUGGER BRUISER will likely head for the front off the gate and he could take these a long way on the lead. (3) DEEPFAVE HANOVER was bet down last week and he only showed some life late in the mile. He can threaten here if he gets a better start. (1) KOULTONS ROCKET can sit a trip and take a piece of this after a dismal performance last week. Race 10 (7) WEATHERLY had no shot last week starting from the 10-hole, but he gets to drop to the bottom now and I think he may still offer a good price here; top call. (10) NICKLE BAG is leaving from the post that has had only two winners this year so far, but he has a major class edge here and if he is put into the race, he should be right there. (3) MCKINNEY should last longer here and stick around for a slice. (6) BS TYRRIFIC is worth a look off his swift final 1/4 last time out.
