(1) BAROCKEY has raced well for most of this meet and now she moves into Moreau's barn where she is sure to be a threat. (6) REQUEST FOR PAROLE got hung out to dry last time. She has a much better chance to share here starting from an improved post. (8) WINDSONGMAGNIFIQUE steps up off a solid win, but she is unlikely to get the same trip racing on an uncontested lead this time. Race 2 (3) JINS SHARK closed in 25 2/5 from no man's land last time and still couldn't get a check. The short field helps his chances here. (1) NIRVANA SEELSTER will be tough racing near the front here. (2) BLATANTLY BEST has been racing well for McNair and this isn't the toughest Preferred, so I'll use him in the Pick 5. (4) PHYSICALLYINCLINED looks next best and he may offer some early speed this time. Race 3 (7) MARQUIS VOLO gets his regular pilot back here and his price will rise with him coming off a break last time. He is capable vs. these; slight nod. (3) HEAD TURNING JAG drops a class coming off a decent front-end try and he will be heard from here. (2) JUSTASMALLTOWNGIRL is a great one to use underneath and another slice is likely for her this week. (4) CHESTNUT SCHOFIELD tipped his hand two back then scored a wire-to-wire win last week. He is unlikely to get left alone on the lead here; small share predicted. Race 4 (2) ISITFRIDAYYET is on a serious roll and he may win a few more before he gets beat. (1) EXTERNAL was a stride short last week. He looks the main threat to the choice here. (6) BRAVE WORLD was in against some tough ones last time. He's not out of this and a change of tactics is likely here. (7) FREDDY BEAR should be along late to take a small share. Race 5 (4) PISTON BROKE was airborne late last time, but he couldn't catch the winner. He will be tough here if he's kept a bit closer to the pace. (1) ASAP HANOVER was used hard early and he hung in gamely. He should be a big threat here. (2) ANDREIOS KARDIA is capable vs. these if he is fit enough after having missed more than a month. (6) COOL ROCK steps back to a level where he will likely employ a closing style and take a small share. Race 6 (4) CLASSY DRAGON just missed to a class-dropping chalk last time and he has raced well for several weeks in a row. He gets the nod. (3) MODERN REFLECTION should go better here back on a 7-day rotation; using. (1) VELOCITY DRIVEN rates highly in this class, but he could get over bet dropping from the Preferred; your call. (6) FOUR CARD MAJOR is always around the money. He should hit the Super here. Race 7 (5) MAJESTIC PRESENCE comes off a determined win and these aren't much tougher; call to repeat. (2) PEPE DI JESOLO is in top form for Moreau and he is the one to beat as the likely choice. (1) MAJOR MUSCLE raced okay in this class last time and he isn't without a chance here. (4) MEADOWBRANCH MEMO can pass some of these late; use underneath. Race 8 (2) SPEEDLING gets Lasix and McNair here and those two changes give him a good chance to beat this group. (3) EUCHRED figures to get a decent trip near the front here. He has upset possibilities. (4) BUGGER BRUISER drops back to a level where his speed should be effective. He's the third one I'll use in the Pick 4 here. (1) SUNNY BEACH DAY has rounded into form and he will be passing many of these in the back 1/2; use underneath. Race 9 (7) FOOL ME ONCE takes a big drop here and adds McNair; no excuses here. (8) NICKLE BAG also drops, but the choice is in better form and has a post advantage. (4) MR CARROTS was very game last time and he should make the ticket here with a similar effort. (2) SHADES OF BAY has shown blazing speed in the past but he will likely need one not having raced in 16 months. Race 10 (1) HIGHLAND TOP HILL steps up one level off a sharp win and Roy has been a good partner for this mare; top call. (3) ACHILLE DUHARAS was last seen racing in a Hambletonian elimination so he was obviously well thought of. If he is ready, he can be tough here. (2) WESMONT was a closing 2nd to the choice last time and he continues to be sharp. He can race effectively from anywhere and is a good one to use underneath here. (6) VERO BI AMORE may go back to a speed approach here which would give him a good chance to make the board. (9) CRESURREY failed as chalk last time, but he can make the ticket against this group.
