Expect a more aggressive steer this time; top call. (4) KAYS SHADOW comes off a break sporting a solid qualifying line and she fits this class well. I'll use her in the Pick 5. (5) WHISTYS PARADISE was first up last time, which isn't her trip. She should be dangerous here coming off a helmet. (8) DOCS SAUSALITO steps up again off a sharp win. She's not out of this, but these are tougher. Race 2 (5) XTERNAL gets away from one of the hottest horses on the grounds here after finishing 2nd and 3rd to that one in his last two starts. He looks best here. (4) BRAVE WORLD has a similar scenario and he should be positioned near the front. He's in the mix here. (1) TUXEDO BAY fits this class well and he could get a great covered trip here. I'll use him too. (2) ROCK THIS WAY will probably get overbet here off a second-place finish in a quick mile. I'll make him show me he can do some work and beat some sharp opponents. Race 3 (4) ACHILLE DUHARAS was impressive in victory last week in his second start over the track; call to repeat. (1) VERO AMORE BI was nailed by the choice after cutting a big opening half last time and this race looks like it will come down to those two again. (6) FONDUE will likely get a passive steer in her first start of the campaign, but she can still pass many of these and hit the ticket. (2) CRESURREY figures to take a smaller share again. Race 4 (2) SHADES OF BAY didn't take long to fire a big one after missing an entire season of racing and getting one tightener in. I'll give him the slightest nod over (1) ISITFRIDAYYET, who has been the hottest horse on the grounds the past month. This race should come down to one of these two. (3) PISTON BROKE will be closing to hit the ticket again, as he does most weeks. (7) FOUR CARD MAJOR is another one that never misses the board who merits exotics consideration. Race 5 (6) ANDREIOS KARDIA went a huge trip on the rim all the way last week to win and he is capable of stepping up and taking another; top call. (2) MODERN REFLECTION will likely look for an easier trip here, and if he gets it, he can be dangerous. (8) COBALT MAN is on a serious roll, but trainer Adams has been cold and the step up here is also significant. I'll play to beat him this time. (4) CULTURAL PARADISE steps up off a sharp comeback effort, but, he can take a slice here again. Race 6 (7) AMOREUSE HANOVER qualified as fast as most of these race and the 27 4/5 kicker jumps off the page. She gets my call here. (3) P L JERICO raced much better with Filion at the controls last week and that driver returns here; using. (4) MIGHTY NICKY may be on the rebound following an improved effort last time. I'll throw him on a Pick 4 ticket. (2) BURNIN MONEY should be closer early here moving to an inside post. Consider using him underneath. Race 7 (5) BIG PETES STYLE took new life marks in two straight starts and now he goes for the leading trainer racing off the claim here. If he can replicate last week's mile, his roll should continue. (3) DREAMY FELLA was a winner last time he raced in this class and notice he left better that night; using. (7) VELOCITY DRIVEN takes a big class drop here and I can't leave him off Pick 4 tickets racing at this level. (1) SOUTHWIND MASIMO steps up off a grinding win and he is best used underneath here. Race 8 (3) NIRVANA SEELSTER is at the top of his game and in this short field, he should control things throughout again. (6) JINS SHARK - after a failed attempt on the lead - will likely use a closing approach here and he's capable of a wicked stretch brush on his best day. (1) THE REV was no match for the choice last week. He can be an exacta factor again here, however. (5) FOOL ME ONCE steps up off a win vs. lesser. He looks best of the rest but is unlikely to threaten for the win. Race 9 (7) NATURAL KEMP would not be denied last week, and he chased down a loose leader in the lane to get the job done; call to repeat. (8) O NARUTAC PERFETTO did okay chasing wicked fractions last week. He fits this class well and he'll pop soon. (2) BUZZ is dangerous with his excellent tactical speed and the move inside should help him here; using. (6) WILLYORWONTHE has a penchant for notching upsets and he will be a price again moving up here. He isn't the worst stab in here as he could get another good trip. Race 10 (1) EUCHRED projects to get a much better trip here leaving from an inside post and dropping one class level; top call. (6) ERLE DALE N raced much better last time, but he just couldn't seal the deal. He can take this if the choice falters. (7) WINDSONG LIGHTNING was right there last time Macdonald drove two starts back and that driver is typically aggressive from outer posts. He's the third one I'll use in the Pick 4. (2) HES A SENSATION improved sharply last week, and he should make the ticket here using a closing approach. (8) KOULTONS ROCKET is in solid form, but he will likely be closing belatedly for a minor award again starting from an outer post.
