Once he gets good, he can climb the ladder and there's a good chance it starts here. (3) COOL ROCK continues to pace home quickly and he could take this with a little luck. (2) HIS BOY ELROY was flying late last time and he is another who could win this with a good trip. (6) PISTON BROKE is hitting his best stride. Look for him late here. Race 2 (2) AMERICAN VIRGIN drops off a solid effort and he should be tough to beat here at a short price. (5) ANDREIOS KARDIA was good here last winter and he might offer a square price coming off a vet scratch. An upset here by him wouldn't shock me. (6) REGAL SON has improving form and he should hit the ticket again here. (7) ROCKIN IN HEAVEN should be passing horses late; use underneath. Race 3 (9) WILL TAKE CHARGE is as sharp as a horse gets right now. I'll stick with him here. (7) BIG RICH is another with good form who should be racing near the front again. He could turn the tables if the choice faces a bit more heat. (3) FREE WILLY HANOVER has maintained excellent form for a long time and he is worth a look for the exotics here at a price. (6) IL SOGNO DREAM had nothing to offer last time while under heavy urging on the backstretch. He will get bet based on his previous miles, but I'll play to beat him here. Race 4 (3) TWOMACSONESHADOW drops out of a stakes series and he was a winner in good time three starts back when he last raced in a conditioned race. I think he'll be an overlay in here, so I'll go with him on top. (1) CLASSY DRAGON was a sharp winner in this class last time and he should be right there again. (7) STEALTH BOMBER will be overbet off a quick mile where he was a bit lucky in the lane when the leader drifted out several lanes. I'll try to knock him off as an underlay. (9) DUBIOUS CLAIM has been known to pop when least expected. Keep him in mind if he gets ignored in the wagering here. Race 5 (9) ALWAYS N THE MONEY takes a big drop here and Cullen should be blasting; top call. (6) RAMBLINGAMBLINGMAN should wake up dropping a level and making his 4th start at the meet; using. (7) ROCKIN WIZARD was aggressively driven to a nice win by McClure last time and he isn't out of the question here. (1) D J POWER raced well last time despite enduring a long trip. He should hit the ticket here. Race 6 (6) SENOR GRANDE figures to get another good trip near the front here and I'll stick with him while he's hot. (7) PLAY IT AGAIN SAM was likely best last week, but the choice slid up the pylons late and nailed him in the final stride. He can turn the tables here. (3) JIMMY BE GOOD was airborne late and only missed by a stride, but his racing style usually puts him in a bad spot and he will probably be an underlay here. (4) SAVANNAH SPLENDOR raced better last time and he's another contender to consider here. Race 7 (5) SHADOW PLACE raced tough vs. better last week and he hung in there right to the wire. A similar effort gets the job done vs. these. (4) E L WILD SPIRIT is on a roll and he's hard to leave out the way he has been racing. (9) SHADOW MARGEAUX is likely to wake up racing at this lower level; using. (6) AVATARTIST has hit his best stride recently and he can close for another slice here. Race 8 (3) ROYAL CHARM finished well in her qualifier and when she wins, she usually returns a big price. I'll take a stab with her coming off a break. (2) WILD AND CRAZY GUY couldn't catch a classy rival last time, but he should be a top player here. (7) LEAN HANOVER has some sneaky good form and he isn't the worst stab you could make here at a price. (9) LUCK O THE IRISH cuts back in distance here shipping in, but he faces easier and he isn't out of this. Race 9 (3) EASY LOVER HANOVER just made it to the wire in front last week, but that may have been a product of being used hard early on a cold day. He can take his 6th straight here facing the same rivals. (2) CHAMPAGNE PHIL is at the top of his game despite having made 47 starts already this year. He can upset with the right trip. (6) MACH CODE is another who is in excellent form; using. (4) PRESCOTTS HOPE almost nailed the choice at big odds last week when returning from a break. He is a tough customer who can hit the ticket again here. Race 10 (9) DUNBAR HALL has been the picture of consistency the past few weeks and he can be spotted anywhere and race well it seems. He should be a good price again I here starting from an outer post; slight nod. (1) MAJOR ATHENS failed as the chalk last time, and while he will no doubt deservedly take action here, too, the month off is concerning; your call. (4) GRANA PADANNO was a decent third to the choice last time and he should be competitive here also. (6) MUSCLES FOR LIFE showed good late speed in his qualifier. He's worth a look for the exotics here. Race 11 (4) FANCOURT was forced to make two moves to get the job done in this class last week, but he was game and determined down the lane; call to repeat. (3) MAJOR HILL came on late to nail a big chalk last week and he figures in this spot too; using. (2) MAKE SOME LUCK drops into a more likely spot and he's another I will use in the late Pick 4. (6) FINE DIAMOND is still stuck on one win for the year, but he consistently hits the ticket and a smaller share is again likely for him. Race 12 I'm going to take (4) LIGHTS GO OUT on top of my pentafecta ticket here with a mandatory payout. She is streaky and right now she is on top of her game. (8) TWICE AN ANGEL was nailed only by the pocket-sitter last time and she is one of seemingly few leavers and she should be around at the finish. (3) BAROCKEY is racing well out of the Auciello barn and she should get a good trip racing near the front here. (2) WANDA BAYAMA was used up early when dropped into this class last time. She should rebound with a better effort here. (5) THE EMPIRESSISTER N gets Roy back here and she should rebound with a much better try.
